hey guys I just want to ask what are the decent mics in the price range $50 -$70. I actually have money to buy a more expensive one but I prefer not to because I think $50 is enough. so if you know some please tell me I can also buy a headset maybe a gaming one.
OP, I use a Blue Snowball Ice. It's a bit cheaper than the blue snowball. I ordered mine on amazon for 68 bucks (got free shipping since it was over 25 bucks too). You can look up several demos of it on youtube. It's pretty good for its price. Just you may want to purchase a pop filter along with it.
Er... just noticed you can't buy on amazon. Nonetheless, still have a look around for the Blue Snowball Ice. I was very pleased with it.
It's also a gaming head set with 7.1 surround sound.
Real surround sound or virtual, virtual is a scam tbh, pure scam and marketing term to sucker idiots (no offense to any who belived it was truthful surround sound).
If you want 7.1 surround sound, that is virtual, just get the Razer Surround driver or use your Sound Card (integrated or not) virtual ability. Either works, though Razer's Surround gives ability to have EQ adjustments, Bass adjustment and normalizing. works with any headset/headphone, even if USB as it overrides and makes itself a Playback device you can select in Windows Sound settings.
Not entirely really. He may just bought a crappy headset to start with anyway. It is one those things you should pour lots of research into.
@OP, check out this microphone if interested. I have did extensive research on it, pretty dang good if you dont mind that is a stick and ball based one instead of a can.
But heck, by what I found, its one heck of a mic with a good pop filter and foam cup. XLR, USB, Mic Monitoring, all in one device. You cannot ask for anymore than that. Sounds to good to be true, well it is true in this case it is what it is advertised to be.
Trust me, don't judge that thing either, it shouldn't be judged. The price it is at now, is a steal. Oh and it does come with good desktop stand, so you can use it as a standalone mic.

It is in NZ dollars costs 2x as much as it does then if it was in USD Everything is 2x as much over here like a gtx 660 ti is like $500 or maybe more and its like 200 in usd, also razor is a good product but its a complete rip off.
Mine is a USB and i can change the settings down from 7.1 and stuff and change the bass. But i don't really care it works good
I use the Logitech G430. I got it on sale at Best Buy; I think it was about $55. It has 7.1 Dolby Surround sound and a nice noise-canceling mic. It's pretty comfortable, light-weight, and has a really long and durable chord. Overall, it has amazing quality for its price.
If you want, you can check out this video I did playing Dead Space 2 using the G430:

I heard about this mic already. I'll try to buy it. thanks for the advice
Hmm. You can get the Blue Snowball on sale in that price range, mainly on Amazon though. I'm not sure where else you could get it, but there has to be somewhere
P.S.
I can't buy on Amazon

You've been scammed!
You can get a good one for 10 bucks...
OP, look for the Antlion ModMic.
Haha I was going to recommend this same exact one. This OP, best mic I ever had and it was literally $12.
It's also a gaming head set with 7.1 surround sound.
That explains the crappy mic...

My old school had a lot of them in the music department and they were fantastic, especially for how cheap they are. Really good deal.
