Wow!
Did i just see EvilCreeper10 encourage Pre-built buying?
Shame - On - You!
Yeah, because you only told someone to buy a pre-built gaming desktop.
This is a laptop. I'd like to see you try and build one. It's not worth it because it's so difficult.

Yeah, I'd like to see you (or anyone else here) actually build a laptop.
In addition, your post is relatively useless, as some people may require a laptop for whatever reason, and just telling them to "get a desktop" is stupid.
When did i say "Buy a pre-built desktop"?
And i have build 7 and half pc's(one is actually right now being built).
And it's so easy, when i first time build a pc i thought "This is already broken"
and after the first one: "easier than legos"
You just need to believe you can fly.
Nobodys talking about building one, i think you cant even build a laptop?
I would never brag about building a laptop, thats waaaaay over my skill set
Please take your #SWAG and #YOLO and leave the premises post haste.
You know, some people do require laptops. Yes, a lot of the time it will just end up sitting on a desk. But on a lower budget like this, a laptop is a better option. It comes with all the peripherals you need plus it will most likely be about the same power as any desktop you get at that price range.

He's right. I'm still in the process of finding a good gaming laptop (Minecraft, LoL, emulators [?], etc.)
I game everywhere, and as many other hundreds of thousands of gamers, so do they. I would technically call you out for "building a desktop" and be a smartie about it, but no. His laptop [I hope] has balanced parts and will run Minecraft fine, and have no overheating problems. Please, God, let it not be a HP.
I got this and run minecraft on far and fancy no lag what so ever
Yeah and my $400 laptop can do the same, not really a hard thing to do.

If somebody suggests a Mac, Alienware, IBuyPower, CyberPowerPC, HP, Dell, ect. Wait for someone who knows what they're doing.
I personally would look for something that isn't from acer. Their stuff is good from time to time, but the quality isn't consistent through out all of acer's machines.
Well it depends as suggested above theres always the z585, which WILL perform better because of the faster ram, the acers ram freq is only 1066mhz while the z585 is 1600mhz. I personally haven't had any problems with my old acer computer, which is like 5 years old.
acer pros = Bigger hard drive. more ram, windows 8
z585 pros = faster ram = better fps in games, windows 7
if you're thinking about the acer and then replacing the ram with somthing faster you could do it but you wouldn't be able to use the ram which came with it, so thats 10 gbs of ram gone right there since your ram will be stuck at 1066mhz as you cant run different sticks at different frequencys
You should also concider the windows because windows 8 does provide better fps in some games but you might not like it and buying new windows is like 100$
Heres another funky thing about laptops, i hate to make decisions that might change the whole laptops usage.
Like there is Gpus for just normal day usage, and then theres gaming Gpus. Well usually easy to know which ones which, but sometimes it's annoying, imo.
i'd go with the z585.
the words "laptop" and "Gaming GPU" shouldn't be in the same sentence.
Also, "Every day" gpu is more or less intel HD or whatever comes with an APU.

Proud member of the MCF AWA war of '13! if someone suggests Alienware or Cyberpower, wait for a custom-built list from someone who knows their stuff. Meh Rig
I was kind of worried about this post as like an ad, but honestly it will attract a lot of attention about the subject matter. It's really hard to find a good gaming laptop.
It seems companies are going backwards putting games on cellphones, mini-laptops (notebooks), tablets, etc. One Korean PC gaming conference was cancelled about 2 years back because the owners said PC gaming is dead, and the only competitive gaming in the future will be on cell phones. (We all laugh, but maybe true.)
This is nice and all, but the desktop, real world computers still very much rock. I'm hoping AMD, NVidia, intel and the like can get together and play nice in the near future, and make something that really rocks that's portable too.
this Laptop will run MC awesome buy it while it has a deal

Correct grammar. LOL

Wow, that's an extreme cost-saving measure there. DDR3-1600 is what, $5 more?
Actually its like 50$ more for 8 gb

I need a laptop not a desktop and i really dont want a screen larger than 16"
Don't worry, that guy's an idiot.
As we said though the Z585 would perform better.
