For the first time, I think, I'll be having a computer with two hard drives. I'm slowly building a new computer, buying parts one by one. I'll be reusing my current 700GB hard drive, and buying a new 1TB one. When I get the new computer built, I'll copy everything from my old hard drive to an external, format it, and put it into my new one. Then, I'll install the OS, drivers and a few basic programs, then copy over all my other programs, games, and files. My question is where should I put what? I'm thinking OS and files on the 700GB one, and games and programs on the 1TB one.
i5 4670k @ 4.9GHz - Stock Heatsink - The rest is melted silicon but I think I have a graphics card in there somewhere It surprises me how many people on this forum can't read benchmarks.
I second that, in this day and age an SSD is sort of becoming a necessary part rather than a luxury; invest in an SSD (no more than $120)
if i could re-build my build i would dump the SSD.
OP, what speeds are the SSDs? if one is 7200RPM and one 5400RPM have the OS apps, and games on the 7200rpm, the 5400rpm can be videos, pics, etc could go on the 5400RPM one.

With three drives I'm doing OS and some programs on SSD, documents, music, pictures, and video on a 1TB drive, and most games and programs on a 500GB drive. With two drives I would put the OS with the programs and games since most of them have to be reinstalled anyway if I ever have to reinstall Windows.
C: (90GB SSD): Windows, Programs, Documents
D: (640GB HDD): Games (Origin, Steam, The Sims, etc), Pictures, Videos, Music, Downloads
