So in a previous thread I had an issue where I could not get a display to my monitor. That's fixed. I installed W7 Ultimate and got everything configured and realized I had no internet.
My computer does not include a wireless card, if this changes anything.
I went through the process of setting up the Powerline, I plugged one into the wall by my router and connected the Ethernet cable to the router. I plugged the other by my computer (across the house, same floor) and connected the Ethernet to that one, too. I securely connected the two devices using WPS and in the control panel for my router and Powerline devices they show they are connected and sending/receiving signals.
The odd part is that my computer, despite being connected to an adapter receiving signals, does not want to find my network. When I troubleshoot the issue it pops up with "Windows did not detect wireless network adapter. Please re-install the drivers or adapter" something along those lines.
On my computer I also have the control panel for the Powerline devices but nothing shows up there where something shows up on the computer I am posting from now. The router control panel is useless because it requires a connection to the router.
I also tried setting up a guest network that does not require a password to see if security was preventing my computer from noticing the network. Nope, didn't work.
Does anyone have a suggestion for me? I'm willing to try anything.
didnt you get a driver disk with your board? just insert that and run the lan/network install, or somthing like that.

Proud member of the MCF AWA war of '13! if someone suggests Alienware or Cyberpower, wait for a custom-built list from someone who knows their stuff. Meh Rig

Thought it didn't come with one, but a look through the user manual and one just fell out from in-between the pages. Don't bother posting more unless I desperately cry for help if a frikkin problem comes up with installations.
I have a Powerline network which I just set up a few hours ago - Powerline AV 200 Adapter
This is my router - WNDR4500

Realtek LAN driver? No drivers could very well be the issue.
Should say somewhere on your motherboard box, personally i use Atheros Lan drivers.
