Hey Guys, AnonymousBuilder here.
So, as many people know, (maybe not you ), I have a Windows 7 PC. I would like to have an Apple Product to go along with that, as I have an iPod Touch and iPad. Now, I would like to know, which would run Minecraft better if I got one? MacBook Air 4 Gigabyte or MacBook Pro 4 Gigabyte? I know it sounds a little weird, because I know they'd both have low performance, but I'd love to have an Apple Laptop. Thank you, have a nice day.
P.S. Minecraft I know on either will probably never go above 60 FPS.
Save your money, there is no advantage about having a Mac above a PC, but if you want a shiny laptop with crap performance, get the pro. (Although I HIGHLY do not recommend it)

No no I have a pc. I'd like an apple laptop too. It'd be nice since it'd be a bit easier with school, since we use macs there.
Assuming it's the higher end MBP, it'll have far better performance than the MBA due to the dedicated GPU.
Keep in mind that you're paying a premium with pretty much any Apple laptop, which is only worth it if you really like the OS or very specific hardware features (the trackpad or the unusually high resolution screen). If you don't care about those three specific things or want the most bang for your buck, buy a laptop from someone else.

I dislike the trackpad, I would get a Bluetooth mouse, for sure. Thanks for the information, too.
MacBook Air does NOT have a disk drive, something you may find to be important for school. College math classes like to use that awful MyMathLab which comes on a (you guessed it) disk.
. You are paying 1000 dollars for a gigantic sticker and a piece of silocon and cheap steel. They may seem sophisticated, but what changes? NEW SCREEN . That shakes up the world. NOW .000001 INCHES THINNER .
They overhpye it for the technologically impaired. You pay twice as much for half the performance, but it is your loss. I will now continue to play planetside 2 and hawken on my computer.
Use a mac only for vid and photo edits and almost nothing else Imo.

Thanks, because I'm totally listening to you #sarcasm
Well, unless you need the portability, I would say get a Macbook Pro.
It's widely known that the Apple trackpads are the best in the business. Anyone who says otherwise is fooling themselves.
And who knows, the lights inside that Apple logo on the front might cost a lot!
Honestly when do you game on a trackpad, and its all preference anyway. And you don't get what I mean. The reason people want apple is so they can show it off, basically saying look at me I wasted my money on this shiny piece of crap computer.
I got a cheap 2009 laptop and put hackintosh on it. Works great and costs $600 less.
But its so shiny... I want the slim, sexy surface..... And I have a Windows 7, I just want a taste of both devices. Spice some stuff up, you know what I mean dog

better than that for nearly the same price. Has far better (not the best) heatsink action than that garbage.
Guys, it's clear he is not listening to reason, so just give him the answer he wants and let him blow his cash on a pointlessly expensive shiny laptop.

I like its interface, it's very slick. That's my opinion, though.

Honestly I still don't get the point, any laptop can have a good screen and track pad, but pay $700 for the Apple logo anyway

Your money. I'd be suprised if it runs any other game than minecraft and team fortress 2. You are paying $2000 for something easily worth $600.
