Hey everyone, I am currently saving up for a (somewhat?) beefy rig, and my budget is $2100 (including tax, so for a desktop subtotal should be ~1800). I visited CyberPowerPC to build a computer.
I am not an all seeing master of computer hardware, although I know the basics. I just wanted to run the configuration across some experts or others who own gaming computers. Here is what I built:

GRAND TOTAL: $2061
Is this worth the money?
Can it run recent games on high, ultra, and/or max settings?
Am I gaining much power from the extra 300 bucks tacked on to Build # 2? Or should I just stick with the cheaper one because it is worth it's price more so than this one?
Well it looks like I will go with the build BKrenz whipped up.
Also, I would like to be clear on a couple things. One, is Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (x64) the full version of Windows, or is that just an update? Two, how is Windows 8 when it comes to games and other software? I have heard extremely mixed opinions across the internet and I am wondering if any of you have some info to chime in with.

That version of Windows is the full version. Also, Windows 8 is just as good for gaming. People don't like it for other reasons. If you're not sure, just go with Windows 7. You can't go wrong with that choice.

Thanks to all who help me.
You overspent and wasted about $1100 with that build.
I had a good feeling about that. Would you like to throw something out there my way?
I just thought that I would do something possibly overkill and then widdle it down from there.
Depends if you want to build your own part by part "relatively easy".
Or rely on prebuilts in which you know nothing of the quality work put into it "and really dont get what you pay for".
Or... get a good local tech

I went from Windows 8 to Windows 7 and I threw in a monitor because I am on an iMac right now with no spare monitors.
Here is a build (Gaming/Editing) I found on /r/buildapc and messed with a little bit:

Why did you get the 32/64-bit 2-pack? Just get the single 64-bit for $90
As stated, just make sure you get the 64bit Version of Windows only. No sense in wasting money.
And the second build is equivalent if not worse in gaming, so it's entirely not worth it. Price does not equal performance.
"Programmers never repeat themselves. They loop."
Yeah, here's a perfect example
If you have nothing useful to contribute, please don't contribute at all.

Oh for the love of...
This place doesn't have to be so serious and stuck-up. I'm not hurting anything by posting something you deem useless.
