Ive assembled my computer and It will not turn on.
AMD A10-5800K 3.8 Ghz Quad-Core Processor
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
ASRock FM2A55M-DGS Motherboard
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4gb) DDR3 1866 Memory
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
MSI Radeon HD 6670 1GB Video Card
Rosewill CHALLENGER ATX Mid Tower Case
Corsair Builder 430W 80 PLUS Certified ATX12V Power Supply
My Mobo has a 4 pin plug, so I seperated the 8 pin cpu plug to get a 4 pin, and it fits. So I know its not that. Im still very confused on the front pannel setup, because the power switch and Reset switch on the Mobo says its a 1 pin, but my case has a 2 pin. The case also only came with the power, reset, and HDD LED. I have no idea what to do, and my friend whos already built a computer has no idea whats wrong either. PLS. SEND HELP ;_;

Start from the bottom up, and try to isolate the defective part if any. Is your PSU powering on?
Nothing is powering on. I believe its something with the front panel.

Proud member of the MCF AWA war of '13! if someone suggests Alienware or Cyberpower, wait for a custom-built list from someone who knows their stuff. Meh Rig
Make sure that you plug in the front panel headers to the positive and negative pins.
Unplug all of them, first, and short the "PWR +" and "PWR -" pins. They may not be labeled exactly such; check your motherboard manual for the correct pins!
Almost every power supply has a 4 + 4 pin CPU connector. There's almost no way he could possibly mess that up.

i5 4670k @ 4.9GHz - Stock Heatsink - The rest is melted silicon but I think I have a graphics card in there somewhere It surprises me how many people on this forum can't read benchmarks.
Thought he meant he got an 8 pin, and cut it in half.
Anyway, just throwing suggestions at him won't do anything. He has to come back and answer our questions for us to be able to do anything.
Eh, you never know, somebody some day will cut 4/8 pins off of the 24-pin main mobo connector and complain to us about it.

Whew, remember when the heatsink/fan combo didn't cover the whole dang card?
Those were the days.

Sorry for the off topic post, but that avatar hypnotizes me.
Anyways, check if it's plugged in, turned on, whatever, that happened to me once and I just forgot to plug mine machine in.

True, where is that bit about cutting a graphics card so it would fit?
