First thing is first, I have $500 for a build Is this enough? Or should I continue saving? I have been (trying) to live off Intel HD Graphics for the past 2 years, and im sick of it. I will Want to be doing the following: Gaming(will list a general list of games) General web stuff (Youtube, Facebook, email, Happy Wheels ;D) and a tiny bit of editing, not much. Just messing around. This is just s general list of games I will want to play: Alot of older Strategy games, AOE 1,2,3ect, RTW<<<Will want to play the new one, Dawn of War, Skyrim, Minecraft, I may try some BF3 later on but if I need to upgrade graphics later thats fine. Not alot of Graphics intensive games... I am fine with Intel or AMD but prefer Intel if I can get it (Not a fanboy, simply like them.) I Have a case from a old tower Alienware (Ha-Ha-Ha.) I have various coolers... idk if I would need a newer one or not. I also have Ram, This is alot, I have 18 gigs. Three sticks of 6gb ram w/heatsinks. I also have a 800w PSU, idk if I should use it or not...
DDR3-1600. I have acouple monitors, I will live with them for now. I need Windows 7<<<Not negotiable. I know how to use it. Umm I have acouple old old CPU and I have a i7 920... But I learned that they suck. My PSU, the Model is a ATX-CB800w. idk if I can use it or not... I rather would. I have a mouse.
I didnt expect maxed out. Im not really a graphics picky person... I play Skyrim on low and enjoy it just as much as the guy who plays in on Ultra. I dont mind... It`s about the game and the storyline.
Thanks alot...
Star
Also, do you need a monitor? OS? Any other salvageable parts? I would think at least an ODD.

I'd recommend getting a new PSU. Find the extra $30, and this will do very well.

A 7770 would easily max Skyrim.
That's non-GHz edition and probably with old drivers too.
