I'm using a PC, not a laptop with a Corsair k70 RGB MK2 so there is no Fn or Function key for enabling my F-keys. But when I use my F3 Key in Minecraft it just turns up the volume of my PC. I've tried holding every single key + F3, but nothing works. You can't find this in control options so I can't bind this function to another key. Someone told me that there should be an option in Windows to change it, but I've looked for it and i really can't find anything about F-keys and I haven't found anything useful in Google.[/p]
I'd really appreciate some help ^^[/p]
Thanks![/p]
I saw similar things in Google but nothing seems to fit my case. I found programs like AtuoHotKey, but they looked really complex. There must be something I can do from the PC itself to change it, this doesn't make sense.
You bought a software-controlled keyboard, probably you need a software-based control system. Have you installed any drivers for your keyboard? It does seem for key personalization you need a windows-based software, maybe the option is there.
What do you mean? I have Corsair's software for the keyboard. And yes I can personalize the keys but I need F3 function, and if I put it on another key that key will just do the same that F3 does, which is turning up the volume. And there isn't any other option for the function keys
this can sometimes be changed in your computer's BIOS, you could also try to manually bind a key to work as 'FN'

Yes, the same happened on every one of them
