My freggin Laptop sucks so I have been looking for a new one on the internet. My current laptop is a Toshiba 2010 model. I found a Toshiba Satellite on a website for 335$ it is slightly used and has GHZ 2.7 and windows 8. So my question is will this new laptop run minecraft on 8 chunks, fancy graphics, and smooth lighting and still be able to run at least 50 fps??????
PS I don't know how much GHZ it takes to do this that's why I have this post :-}
Not TERRIBLE, but not awesome either. On all settings low, including render distance, you can hit a max of 100 fps(not average).
My processor is this: http://cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel Pentium D 950 @ 3.40GHz&id=1129
That's what I'm going off of.
You'll probably get roughly the same FPS as me since some calculation power will be diverted from the processor to the integrated GPU.
And on average in vanilla 1.8 I get 80-90 with all settings on low.
