The R4 is essentially the same as the Arc Midi but with sound dampening. However it's not really exceptionally quiet; for that you should be looking at the Deep Silence 1 or 2.

Cherry blues are quite noisy, if your home is looking for silence they aren't the way to go.
Another option would be browns. They are basically reds/blacks but they have a bump that lets you feel when you actuate the key. They are also pretty quiet and are pretty good for typing too.
The Z3 Plus is really inferior to the 500R though, which is around the same as the Arc Midi.
I looked at it but I decided it would be better to go with a 500r is 500r one of the best in the price range I'm looking at or are there any others I should look at?
Why do you have to upgrade your PC?
It doesn't perform how I would like and I would like to occasionally record games.
Sorry about the wrong question... Anyway, why do you record games occasionally?
What fans should I get for the arc midi then?
if you have a recommendation I'll change it.

It doesn't look terrible and it's cheaper than the 500r I'll take a look at it. Thanks!
How do the case fans sound?
I have them maxed out and they are a little loud, but not deafening.

I don't know if I'm searching wrong but I can't seem to find that case anywhere.
Not sure if he was talking about the Deep Silence 1 or 2, but here are both:

Thanks. Would the 500r be a better choice or would the deep Silence be a good choice or are they equal?
