So, I'm kinda looking for a good pc that can run minecraft at 60 fps regularly at around normal graphics. I'm not going to be playing any other games with it, so don't recommend something too "good." I'd like it to be prebuilt, but I'm fine on learning how to make my own. As you can tell, I pretty much know nothing aout computers, so bear with me.
I would recommend building it yourself as the better way out. At this price point one could try to cram a dedicated graphics card in, but i dont think its really necessary. Minecraft can run fine on integrated graphics. This is a build that you could consider. I included an amd apu because they have better integrated graphic power than intel processors.
-The processor offers performance along the lines of an intel i3 with much better graphics.
-Ram is a reasonably priced 8GB kit
-HDD is a 1TB seagate drive which offers plenty of capacity on a quality drive for a resonable cost
-Case is my favorite "budget" it has good build quality and decent design for the price (which seems to be creeping up lately)
-PSU is a quality brand with enough power for the build
-Also went ahead and assumed that the budget included the OS so i added a copy of WIN 8
The 7700K is pretty bad when the similarly performing 5800k/6800k are usually available for much less and they fit in the same socket. The RAM could also be better, you could pick up a 2133MHz kit for ~$5 extra that would speed up the GPU by about 10-20%. The motherboard could also be a bit better.
Hmm, I dont really work with apus very much. It looks like you are right though, I was unaware of how much of a better value the 5800 or 6800 offered.
This is the build that I am planning on getting (I'm planning on switching the case to an NZXT Source 210 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case and maybe adding another 4GB of RAM, but 4 should do for the time being) :

OK, I upgraded the CPU to the 6300, because I saw on the Hardware Performance page of the MC wiki that with the AMD FX-6300 paired with the Radeon HD 7750, you could get around 100-200 FPS, but I think I'll just stick with the Radeon R7 260x and the AMD FX-6300.

The 6300 will perform pretty much the same as the 4300 for Minecraft.

Do you think I should switch the Video Card, though?
EDIT: I watched a video of someone recording Minecraft at a solid 60 FPS with the FX-6300 and the Radeon HD 7750, so I think I'll make those changes.

I'm not saying he doesn't need 8 GB of RAM, I'm asking if he would need it.
You don't need Windows for Minecraft. Java can run on Linux distros.

I'm pretty sure it will max out Minecraft.
Is it possible for you to stretch to a FX-6300 and a GTX 750Ti?
Just in case you decide to play something other than Minecraft in the future.
How much more would it cost? And how much better performance would I see from it?
Depending on location the 265 can be $15-20 more expensive than the 750 Ti which on a budget like this may not be attainable.
Regardless, the 260X is still highly competitive with the 750 Ti so there's no point "upgrading" to one.
The 6300 will perform pretty much the same as the 4300 for Minecraft.

Oh, ok, I've never saw it perform, so I don't know why I was thinking it would perform better, but thanks for the advice!
