On Monday, Apple quietly refreshed their MacBook Air line with updated Haswell processors and a $100 price drop. Their base model now starts at $899. Is that still overpriced for a MacBook Air?
It probably is. Just wondering, also wanting to hear your thoughts and opinions.
Anything with the name "Apple" in it, is overpriced. You're paying for a name, not for performance, and nor is it better for video editing, or photo editing. A $800 Widnows PC will beat any $2000+ Mac.
I would say it's worth it if you really want the mobility with decent performance. I think most people here put too much stress on the ability of a computer to play games. Stop using games as benchmarks for everything, it's ridiculous. A quick search on Newegg gave me no competitors to the Macbook Air in the same 11 inch form factor for less money.

Nobody's perfect, so neither is Hannah Montana Linux, but it's pretty great.

They all suck. They just suck differently. Sort of like prostitutes.

Thanks for your opinions.
Imma wait until they give us the Broadwell refresh this summer, though.
