So, basically one of my friends bought an Alienware; and are now suggesting my OTHER friend to buy a Alienware. As stubborn as they are, whatever I suggest that has BETTER stats, lights, etc... They will not budge. Any way I can prove to them? I've used up all the idea's I can think of.
Edit; Double thread post D: A mod could delete the other one if possible.
Let them. If they just look at all the pretty lights and assume it's all high-tech, and you already explained that they aren't that good, let 'em buy it. Their loss.

I really am begging to think this is the only thing too do. Uhg,
Hehe...tell them that if they want to waste their money on a computer, the least they could do is waste it on a Mac.
I was talking with one of my friends on the bus to school one day, saying how bad an Alienware is,when some douche in front of us looks back and say "Alienware is one of the best gaming computers you can buy." Wow. Just wow. Do I have to bash you with so much information that will make you wish you never said what you said?
I'm just noticing how you can get around the same FPS with an above average PC that costs around $500 to $800 compared to an Alienware that costs $2000-$3000.
Why is everyone saying to just let them buy it?
Friends help each other out. Why would you let your friend waste that much money?
I'm assuming he's already tried to explain it. If I showed my friend how much money you could save for better performance, and he still ignored it, I'd honestly let 'em buy it.

Pretty much this explains the situation.
Explain to your friend and show them what is bad about such and that there IS better then what they are looking at.
If they ignore your advice then they must learn through error of their ignorance for ignoring the warnings.
If the least they can request a refund of such said assuming buying from a retailer that accepts such "I hope they are".
Qqqwxs, are your'e friends some kind of rich people "Im gonna buy alienware because it has lights and blinkers on it, and it warms my room to blazing temaptures!"
Just show them a picture of a burnt down house, and say it started from a Alienware laptop
You aint the first one to have some what retarted friends, one guy in class said that: "Of course Macs are so much faster because they cost more and have those i7's. i readed that many i7's have almost 2gb of ram!" (dont worry i corrected him and he believed that i7 doesent have 2gb of Ram, but still thinks: 2500$ Mac = Best computer ever)
Actually has been saving for 3 years for a new computer, part of the reason why I want to stop him from getting one, instead of letting it explode and laughing at him.
I have shown him multiple Sagers, ASUS's and lenovos etc.. And he always responds back with; I do like the flashing lights... Do those have any upgrades with LEDS? *facedesk*
Glad I'm not alone with the quite silly friends :P.
I frankly think I should give up, considering he just bought it.Thanks for the help all; didn't do much but it was fun seeing him exclaiming that: "They all lies!". Can't wait till it dies.

I am aware of that; but they are going to WASTE it. I want to help them make a better choice, but I've ran out of ideas on what to say.
Please look at the above post. I KNOW that. But I want to help them make a better decision.
As much as I would love to do this... (:P) I want him to actually have a computer that doesn't catch on fire.
I appreciate the help :D.
