Hello, I've been trying to upload videos to YouTube lately. My upload speed is horrible, at 3.8 Download and 0.3 upload (Speedtest.net). Now, it says it takes like 350 minutes to upload from mine, so I'm trying to find a workaround. First of all, I can't get a better connection, cause of availability, area, etc. Second, my phone has an upload speed of 0.85 or so, Speedtest as well, but when I try to send the video to my iPhone (With CopyTrans control Center, it detects it as a movie and doesn't want to upload. So any tips guys?
The file itself is made of 3 segments, each compressed in VirtualDub with an encoder, then edited together in After Effects and pre-rendered into an MP4 file.

Intel Core i5 2500k - Asus Radeon HD 7870 - 8GB Memory - Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM - Corsair Builder Series X600 - MSI Z77 G45
so you have half functioning internet, and half functioning electricity? Why did you spend so much money on a high end gaming build with 2500k and 7870? Should have spent the money on making the above things actually work.

Make a video at 720p and at 300MB video file size, And you then get it uploaded in about 10-15mins
Umm, 300MB would take 2.2 hours for him to upload.
Also, you don't have 60MB/s download.

The problem with that is that my house has electrical issues, and we sometimes our plugs stop working for a bit. Which turns off everything :/
Seriously.
Do it.
NOW!
We are.
Not my house, hoping to fix it soon.
What?
YouTube saves your uploads progress, so you should be able to resume after the power is back.

Yeah but i'm pretty sure computers getting their power randomly cut off isn't good for them.
