NH-D14 > H100 in cooling, and no chance of leaking
NH-D14 is way too big and ugly =3.
Anyways, if it only gets 40C idle, I'd rather just keep my 212 EVO and not get the H100. My 212 EVO at 25% gets that.
I say a dude with 1C on an H100. (FX 4100). And 18C max. He had HWmonitor video in his H100 pump noise fix.

There's no way that he could have been getting 1°C unless the room was extremely cold. You have to use a custom setup with things like evap and peltier coolers to reach temps that low. Even your average custom water loop is most likely not going to go lower than ambient at idle and certainly won't at load.

Nobody's perfect, so neither is Hannah Montana Linux, but it's pretty great.

They all suck. They just suck differently. Sort of like prostitutes.

He was at idle. =D
Anyways, I'm not aiming for that crazy stuff. Just a good 30C idle and less C load.

Do you have the link to the video? There's just no way that he would reach 1°C with an H100 even at idle with a normal ambient temperature. If you want 30°C idle and lower load just get a 212 evo and stick two nice fans on there and use some MX-4 thermal paste.

Why not just get some low profile RAM? It would be cheaper to just get shorter RAM, a 212 evo, and some nice fans than it would to get an H100. It would also be much quieter than the H100 with stock fans as well.

That can be fixed by either lowering or raising the voltage given to the pump, it depends on the unit. Some of them need a bit more than 12V for the sound to go away, others need a bit less than 12V for it to go away. If it needs less voltage than you can just get a cheap diode to lower it.

He would have had to a very very low ambient temp temps. Bulldozer runs very cool compared to Intel chips its one of the things AMD did well.
ambient temps?
Yes the Temperature of the ambient air.
Oh...
Ok.
I don't think anyone likes 0C though...

Well he could be like me during the winter I leave my windows open and put a fan in them to keep my computer room cooler.
Wont work.
