The 6950 is overpriced at $245. It's only worth it when it's less than $200.
I recommend the 7850 instead, although realistically I'd go for a 6850 or 6870 with a good cooler then get a better monitor or keyboard.

Agreed. The only reason I jumped the gun and upgraded to a 6950 was because it was on sale for $200 and came with coupons for BF3 and Dirt3. It was quite worth the purchase not only because of the sale, but also due to the fact that my previous card was a 5570. Now I'm working on the BF3 campaign, Half Life 2, and Deus Ex: HR

Nobody's perfect, so neither is Hannah Montana Linux, but it's pretty great.

They all suck. They just suck differently. Sort of like prostitutes.
Budget is $900, But i can go higher if needed
I will need a monitor/keyboard/mouse/case aswell.
I know i'm pushing my budget on it but i want to see if it's possible.
I'd like the build to run Minecraft, TF2, L4D2, And other games alright.
Also run shaders :3
Also run emulators well.
Again i'm pushing my budget but i want to see what i can get.
It would be cool if the keyboard had LED lights, but that will bump my price up..
Then for the keyboard you might be able to fit in a Microsoft Sidewinder x4.

7850 is the same price as a 6950, just saying.

Got him a sidewinder x4 keyboard and added my forgotten optical drive. Changed card to a 6870.

No, the 6950 is slightly less powerful than the 560 Ti, and the 560 Ti is a step down from the 7850. So the 7850 is definitely more powerful.
The 7850 would put me over my budget a good $80+, is it worth it?
