would work.It HAS to be more than 2 gigs, or else it won't be any good. If this isn't acceptable for my pc, can i have a link or two to the appropriate Ram? Thanks!
Certainly! I'm using my droid ATM so I won't be able to provide a lot of info. Here they are as far as I can get without my pc:
Intel celeron dual core @2.1 ghz each
Nvidia graphics card. I think 512 to 1 gb of video memory
3 gb of DDR2 ram, one 1 gb stick And one 2 gb stick.
2 solid state (I think) 149 gb hdds
No overclocking, so the specs shouldn't have any quirks. Oh, and windows 7 sp1.Certainly! I'm using my droid ATM so I won't be able to provide a lot of info. Here they are as far as I can get without my pc:

If it's DDR2 it should be compatible. (SODIMM of course). But maybe 800Hz is lower than what you have now, so you must check. (Not sure if it's possible to get 1066 with DDR2 though)

Great! Thanks a lot! Now how would I go about checking to see if my cuurent sytem accepts ___ hz ram?
I think speccy gives you the RAM speed for the one you have currently installed. Or if you know the model name you could go check on the manufacturer's website.
If you're running a 32 bit operating system, you're not going to be able to use more than 3gb ram anyway. Make sure it's 64 bit before you add any more ram.

Technically, the limit is 4gb, but when you actually do it it's somewhere between 3 and 4gb, differing on each system. Usually it's a little less than 3.5gb though, making it not worth the upgrade to 4gb, especially when it's going to cost you $70 because DDR2 RAM is so freaking expensive.

DDR2 memory topped out around 1066MHz, if I recall correctly. I think 800MHz was the most common.
Thanks alot for all your help guys! So, this is the suggested ram (ran at crucial.com) Where can i find here where it tells the Hz? Ahah! This is funny. Usually other people are coming asking for my help. XD
