Ok so here's the deal. About a year ago, I bought a new chassis for my Dell Inspiron 570 and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 to go with it. I really didn't have any problems except for my computer not detecting a "cover" so I have to press F1 to continue every time I start up my computer. (Damn Dell for not letting people customize.)
The only other thing was my computer's fans getting extremely loud while playing games like Skyim or Minecraft. Even opening Firefox makes the fans go crazy sometimes! It drives me insane when I'm trying to play games that require concentration.
Alright cool, thanks for the info! I ordered the parts so, they'll be here in a few days. I'll probably need some help installing the parts. Are there any tutorials or manuals I could use?

The only difference is the chassis which is

And the graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460.
Anyone have recommendations on parts and what parts I should get?
Newegg recommends this motherboard but I don't know.
Edit: I also have replaced the power supply with this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027
So.. what is it you want? Whats your budget? Needs moar info.
Looks as if the only thing necessary to upgrade is the Motherboard and CPU. That CPU is seriously bottlenecking the GPU.
If OP puts in a good $205 and gets this Motherboard with this CPU, then his rig will be fine.
Until when it's necessary to upgrade the GPU, as the GTX460 is getting pretty dated.
Whatever needs to be replaced, I need. Budget in about $300-400
Edit:I made a mistake.

This is the actual chassis I have.
Edit 2: For the CPU, would I have to replace it? What is the reason for replacing it?
Also, what kind of fans should I get? How would I find out what kinds to get for the motherboard/chassis?
What do you mean what fans?
Something like this probably

Although I'm not sure this even counts as a dell anymore since you'll be replacing the motherboard(which includes their BIOS.)
Yes, you'll have to replace that CPU as it is bottlenecking with your GPU and it's out-dated.
