Just doing a poll
chose which one is better over price and performance
As far as I know Kepler is the 700 series and the 600s is a OEM die shrink.

I've read some reviews of the 7950 and what I've gathered is that it matches and in some cases surpasses the GTX 580 in terms of performance. Judging from that and the fact that the drivers for both the 7950 and 7970 are still in development I wouldn't be surprised if the 7970 pulls way ahead of the GTX 580 in benchmarks. Although the new AMD cards are ridiculously over priced at the moment...
Nvidia is most likely doing what they did with the 300/400 series. The 600 series will be the rebadged laptop GPUs and the 700 series will be the new desktop GPUs. They have already released the 600 series on laptops so that would not surprise me in the slightest.
I'd suggest taking a look at the HD7870 from AMD which is to be released near the end of this month? Benchmarks show that they perform slightly better than the 580, and slightly under the 7950 and supposedly cheaper. (From where I buy my hardware, they have already got prices on the 7870, and they're still cheaper than a Superclocked GTX580 from EVGA)
The 7970 is currently the worlds fastest single GPU card at the moment, and surpasses the GTX580 easily. For price:performance, I'm not quite sure on that, but if the price of a 7870 is cheaper than a 580, then the price:performance ratio is pretty damn good.
The 7970 beats the GTX 580 by a good 10-20% in almost all benchmarks and games, the 7950 is a closer match for the GTX 580, but even then the 7950 beats it most of the time. Sometimes, even the 7870 can beat the 580, although that is slightly better than the GTX 570 most of the time.

If you take a look at the graph I showed, the 7870 beats the 570 and most likely will beat it in every other game. Not to mention, those benchmarks were taken with AMD's release drivers, so when they release more, better the drivers, surely the 7870 will leave both the 570 and 580 in the dust.

It's generally a space saving idea. Smaller connectors will mean more space for rear ventilation. Nearly all cards come with miniHDMI-HDMI and DVI-VGA anyway.
ok i just found it weird why nvidia still has 2 dvi ports and no hdmi ports (thats why im going with amd) Radeon HD 7950 Core Edition 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP
Is that GPU good. for me it goes below 2000 dollars in my build and it seems powerful (Destroys nvidia current cards). and also i need help on my motherboard
Here is my logic: If the 600 series are awesome, than the 7970 will be cheaper. If the 600 series suck (hope not, I want a cheap 7970) than the 7970 will stay the same or increase.
Also if the 600 series are really cheap (doubt it) then the 7970 will drop

Ok if any of the series is below 500 ill look into one

I've heard the the kepler will be more than 500 for now. which could mean a large decrease in price around the boards

Except that the posted charts are of different games and settings. Due to the different optimizations and such, some cards can perform better than others in some games and some specific settings. This is more clearly seen when comparing two GPU's that use a different architecture.
It's not fanboyism of those sites, it's just the way it is.
The 7870 is not average but above average
its not superior like the 7970 but its relatively good beating the 580 in some tests
ex: BF3 was perfected with Nvidia drivers AMD cards were not so they under performed in BF3 now they have gotten new drivers to optimize BF3 and other games

Ive heard they just skipped the 600 seriesIf you can please tell me why you selected that option
It may or may not be better then the AMD 7000 series. Nvidia is usually more expensive but does give great performance. 600 series is released, or at least for laptops: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230257

Yours lists the 7870 near the middle
while as other charts list it as "top of the gaming world"
Wonder if anyone will ever get their facts straight and stop fan - boying charts.
Also in the near future if I get this GPU i will probably crossfire it what do you mean?
