Quantum Physics was developed and even started becoming popular during his lifetime. He never had a chance to work with it, but given his stance on Einstein's theories, I doubt he would've taken kindly to it.

I mean, they didn't have anywhere near the technology required to even attempt to prove some of these theories, yet now we do (and are getting some interesting results from).
You should see how it renders out on my galaxy s2, it just goes superspeed and hurts my eyes.
