What the hell would utilize FIVE 7970s and 64GB of ram? Surly it would be bottlenecked by the operating system?
5 7970s? Unless at least two of them are single slot, you won't be able to fit them all. Plus, Crossfire only goes up to 4x.
Also, dat monitor combo. I would choose this, though.

i was actually considering that sometime in the far distant future, if i ever build a rig with 7970s or 680s i'm going all out on it, make it last quite some time

Impressive. Too bad you couldn't use a real case to use those, as the expansion slots are placed so the cards will fit when plugged into the mobo, but nowhere else.

LMAO....
Anyone want to see if they can improve upon it?
The memory is also color coated for the slots, just though I would mention that...
I can't even visualize how large that would be.
40,000 of it is monitors, they are 10,000 each.

I would say that isn't unrealistic for a server.
The monitor combo, I assume?
Yep, it seems pretty badass.
High speed SSDs no less.
I'm sure a very large company could put that to good use.
56 SSDs iirc, thats insane on any scale

A server would?
I present to you:
The PCI-e extension ribbon.
In action:
A files server with lots of traffic would but HDDs are much more practical and less expensive even at today's prices than SSDs.
oh, my, god. give me 7!!! and this in a socket 2011 version
