Hey guys! I have a problem with my wireless mouse. When I turn it on, it works fine. But when I start to use it, it just shuts off. I tried replacing the battery, but when I did, the mouse wouldn't turn on. I have a Logitec M305 mouse.
Make sure the USB adapter for it isn't too far away from the mouse, you may need to move it to a front USB port, there could be some interference causing the problem.

I am on a very small laptop, and the mouse is only about a foot or less away from the USB.
This problem happened to my wireless logitech mouse for my fiances computer.
It worked fine for about a year, then slowly I had to move it closer and closer.
Most wireless mice are line of sight, and it doesn't help if the batteries are low.
Also, usb mice *for the most part* are plug and play. Meaning you shouldn't have to mess with drivers.
My suggestion? Try the mouse at varying distances with new batteries.
If it works fine line of sight, but not 3 feet from the computer behind something, you may want to get a new mouse.

If that doesn't work, maybe it just a bad mouse, or getting old..
so the thing that you plug that into is a usb port, and the input is the other cable :smile.gif:
and you should google device drivers
P.S, in the long run, i just think wireless mice are a pain in the butt
