Just thought I would chime in and say I have a pair of Creative Labs - Fatality. And I gotta say I love them. The mic is crystal clear. The sound is not audiophile quality, but we are talking a gaming headset. And these are a fine damn gaming headset. I have had them for a year now I think, and they have held up pretty well.
As for what other people are talking about, Turtle Beach and Sennheiser are good brands, and good quality. I've never owned either so I can't say how good, but I would trust them. And you can't go wrong with Logitech either.
I would recommend, however, to get a wired headset for several reasons. Generally, they have higher audio quality for transmitting (Generally, not always) just due to bandwidth limitations/sample rates/etc. Also, personally, I hate having to charge computer peripherals. It just sucks when you go to use them and only then realize they need to be charged.

Ok so i plan on getting a gaming headset soon. I'm going to start recording on youtube and on other games. I heard that turtle beach is just about the best of the best. What i was wanting is a headset that is comfortable, records crystal clearly, has clear sound to others listening on the games, and so that i can hear very well and clearly. I, again, also want something that's comfortable and i don't want it too bulky. I would prefer it to be wireless, but if its wireless i suppose that's fine (I'm not even sure if they make them both wired and wireless compatible, but if they do, then that'd be even better). Also one more thing, i'd like it if it was at the very most under 100$, but only if its truly necessary for all of that. So can anyone give me any suggestions? I kind of need to know in like, a day or two. Thanks.
Oh yeah and please only suggest one if you know what you're talking about :tongue.gif:
I don't want to waste any money or get one that's good enough.
I got Turtle beach x12's they have a great microphone and speakers
Garage Sell for the keyboard actually... and from it's IBM badge and thickness I'd say they had one of the old IBM personal machines that still had a floppy drive and a floppy zip. I never heard of foxconn. Also, you can find some pretty cheap mice online mine was from Newegg. As far as the headset is concerned, it's a walmart sold item (Not including sales tax because it varies state to state. Texas is 8.255) Walmart no longer carries Dynex Brand Headsets. I don't know why, they weren't made of flimsy plastic but the cups did keep falling off and were uncomfortable. SO I will point you to something else.
And while it doesn't garantee you a high paying job, it does garantee you a job that pays on salary and gives you a higher chance to be hired then that of someone with absolutely NO developed knowledge of the trade. Saying that college is pointless is like allowing a cave man give you a heart transplant
Anyways back to the point. He wanted a solution under 40, not for everyone to suddenly recommend turtle beach. I am only saying reduce your budget because chances are, your hobby will suddenly become abandoned when you get a heaping amount of work. While you could fork up 100 dollars, that adds up very quickly.
I thought he said at most just under $100, or am I confusing convos here?
Other reason I suggested the vengeance headset was they are tough, I know how easy it is to get up from your desk and the headset falls off where you have it set and bam, its broke. Again, some of it is quality oriented, and if you really don't want to spend that much no biggie, get the turtle beach it seems to be the overwhelming favorite here.

Oh, I didn't know that you graduate into a job in the same way we're supposed to go from highschool to college...
Sure, having a degree makes it easier to find a job, but you are never guaranteed a job in what you studied.(or any job for that matter)

My livestream channel, gonna stream some arma (or other games)!
It depends upon your budget. If you are looking for gaming headset under 100 then Logitech g433 or Astro gaming A10 would be a better choice. but if you are looking for better than these headsets then Logitech g933 or Astro gaming A5o would be a perfect choice, How ever Sennheiser game one and game zero also are better headset for gaming.
And for $50, its a pretty good deal: http://us.store.creative.com/Creative-Fatal1ty-Gaming-Headset/M/B002DS4HTM.htm
