I am in the process of programming a new game. I think it is an awesome idea, and I had thought it was quite original. When I showed my friend the plans last week, he said it was like Minecraft. Well, I didn't know what Minecraft was, so I downloaded it. I think it is still a unique game, but I am hang some major problems with the 3D work (in OpenGL). I was hoping somebody here could give me some help with the basic texturing and lighting code, so I can implement it into my game.
Is anybody here willing to show me some code that actually makes a 3D object with a texture, and some lighting?

Couldn't you have simply done a Google/Bing search?

I did, but everything I could find said things like "If the object has lots of vertices, or you have a lot of objects, this is not what you want". I don't know what else to do but ask the people who used the correct technique.
