yea sometimes i question my own logic sometimes....
Well, I am planning to get at least a 6850 in a week or two so :tongue.gif:
and well, it is a 16-bit game, and I heard HD 3000 was better than it was :sleep.gif:
It's not a 16-bit game, not even close. You realize a 16-bit game would be something on the Genesis like Sonic (1991), right? We don't even measure game graphics in bits anymore, that phased out after the N64/Jaguar.
And ALL of Intel's integrated graphics are awful for anything.
Which is why I added the edit to the bottom having read through what they said about it only seeming to effect chunk loading and little else. Still an improvement but still not quite true multicore.
OP: minecraft may use 16bit textures but the actual resolution is much higher. It is quite heavily dependant on a graphics card being present. Intels integrated chipsets can't cope, even the 3000 is out of its depth.

Some people shouldn't be allowed near technology. We should just leave them in the bottom of the grand canyon with sticks as a tourist attraction.
