I've been looking around at various gaming PCs that I would be able to afford for under 600 dollars and I was wondering if this was a good one. I realize that if I really want to get the most for my money, I should build my own computer, but i have no experience in that area, so for now, I'm simply looking for the best prebuilt gaming pc i can straight up buy for under 600.
This one has some pretty good reviews on it. One even says it can run Crysis it pretty high graphics and get around 40 fps. I have a hard time believing that personally, but if it could, that would be amazing. I don't have any real experience in the computer software knowledge department so I bring my various questions of this sort to forum sites and try to get advice from the computer savvy members. Which is what I'm doing now. So. Is this a good gaming computer (for the price, at least) or not? And what fps would you think it would run Minecraft at max graphics on? And what about those far more intensive games such as mw3, Deus ex, or even Crysis?
Bought this unit from Canada, shipped out of California, on receipt-----powered up- pluged a HDMI cable -computer to Samsung 6900 Led 3D TV- Shorted out the power and burned the TV end off of the cable--$2400.00

First one. That's a great Gaming PC. 2.6 Ghz Processor is plenty fast, 8 GB DDR3 RAM is plenty for running new games, and 1GB of Video RAM will let you play smoothly with high setting graphics. That will play any game you want. Amazing buy too. Although the second one has a faster processor, the ASUS has twice the RAM and same video graphics.
If you're looking for other options I suggest Ibuypower, they build the computer, you customize the parts, my pc runs crysis 1+2 on highest settings, and it cost me $800. I'm sure you'll find something great for 600 IBuyPower
The first has a 6 core, which does not give more performance in 99% of situations to the quad core. The second also has a better video card. The first is also only clocked at 2.6 while the second is clocked at 3.4.
It might have less RAM but most people only need 4GB. If you need more you can always add more later for $30.

does that answer your question?
So one person with an unlucky experience (assuming the PC had ANYTHING TO DO with the tv crapping itself, which it almost certainly did not) means it's terrible?
I guess the 360 is terrible too because when my girlfriend bought hers it was dead in the box and she had to exchange it for a new one.

okay thanks for the idea! Um, do you think you could provide me with a custom build in the 500-600 dollar range? I don't really know what works.

This is the one I've been planning to get, but I want to explore all my options first.
