math help. wow even on a mc forum lol. sorry idk any algebra 2 yet im in 7th grade for pre algebra.
Have a gold bar
You're nothing special. Me and half my class were in pre algebra in 6th grade.
Anyway, I'll give you the steps, but not the answer.
1. Find the slope by doing m = y(2)-y(1)\x(2)-x(1)
2. Used said slope to find the y-intercept with the 3 point
3. Plugin the second point into your y=mx+b formula to find K
You can find the answer to this by doing barely any algebra at all, but instead doing some simple reasoning.
-from (K-1 ; 2) to (K ; 4), the Y-value increases by 2 (2 -> 4), while the X-value increases by 1 (K-1 -> K).
-So for every step Y makes, X makes a half.
-from (K ; 4) to (3 ; 11), the Y-value increases by 7 (4 -> 11), so the X-value must have increased by 7/2 = 3.5.
-So the X-coordinate of the 2nd point (K) must be 3.5 less then the X-coordinate of the 3rd point (3):
-K = 3 - 3.5 = -0.5
actually, the slope is negative 2, because if you take 4-2/K-K-1 you get -2/1 which -2. And you answer was wrong.
Ha, thats a joke of a class. Take a real math class.
Haha this year I have even more of a joke of a class. I used AP Stat to double up on math last year and finish my math credits a year early so I wouldn't have to take Calc this year.

Screw math I'll buy a calculator.
Lol, thats funny. Unfortunately I still have to take Calc AB/BC next year.
My algebra 2 homework. Help is appreciated.

(K-1,2) (K,4) (3,11)- The Formula ( - )
Once you subtract those then use the to get
you should get

You're only cheating on yourself by asking for answers.

Thinking about coming a mod to simply not moderate.
