My toaster computer right now is a load of crap. It runs Minecraft at a great 15 fps on MAX fps, Short, Fast Graphics. Dead serious.
I really don't know anything about specs or specifics. I can work a computer, but when it comes to graphics cards and CPU and GPU, etc. I am a potato. I have a budget of about $800, that's absolutely the highest i will go and i'm only going that high if it's a huge bang for the buck. So ~500-700 would be great.
I also need to know if I need to get a gaming oriented computer to run Minecraft, or any game similar/resource eating game, or can I get just an upgraded version of my computer (My computer is about 4 years old with 2gb of ram)(I don't know specs on CPU and GPU). It's a Toshitba Toshiba.
I know I gave you guys a vague as hell request but if you could help it would be super awesome. It would be great if you could link to whole computers and not specific parts. As well as telling me an estimate that this would run minecraft or something along the lines of that.

A good guide with multiple price ranges. Newegg is a great ally in this. I'm assuming you're willing to build your own computer. Their are multiple videos on youtube to help you out, or you can come back here to learn some tips.
I would recommend you make your own computer,it's not that difficult. All you need to do is follow the directions in the manuals, and it can save you a lot of money. I was able to put together a computer that plays minecraft at 250 fps which only cost me about $700-$800.
Minecraft is a pretty demanding game actually, especially if you want HD or doing mulitplayer ect. Obviously not as demanding as some crazy PC games, but you do need a gaming oriented computer to play at far render distance with smooth lighting ect. Here's my advice, don't get a dell. They suck. I like Acer personally, and they usually are not too expensive. Go to best buy and tell them you want a computer that can run high end games, but you wont need a good graphics card because minecraft has relatively bad graphics.

Here's a more up to date version. Remember to add about $120-200 for the OS, unless your pirating windows. Happy hunting.
