Alright so I have done some more research and looking around since my last post. I feel that I am tech savvy enough to build a computer. But I really just want the best bang for my buck. I know that just because you build it doesn't always mean that it is cheaper. Anyway I would greatly appreciate a big shove in the right deirection. My budget is roughly all together 400ish give or take some. Also putting quite a bit aside for a car which should be more of a priority.... But I'm a geek in need of a faster computer :wink.gif:. I don't really need a computer that is super powered. I will mainly use it for browsing the Internet, a small bit of video editing, small games (minecraft, spore, maybe starcraft and EVE), and a little movie watching. But I would like a computer that will allow for upgrades towards a better faster gaming computer. So I guess I really am aiming for a gaming computer.
The first one you chose only includes some of the parts needed for a computer. You need a gpu, a hdd, and an od. The second one is an overpriced piece of crap.
What is your budget? If you go with the first you are better off choosing better parts. Try looking through the other computer builds on the forums. Come up with a build, show us it on the forums, and people will give you advice.

By od I'm assuming you mean OS. And I have a question about that. Can I back up my win 7 32bit and install it on a blank Hdd? Even if it is a 64 bit system? And if I were to get the first one what gpu would you recomend?
Btw I'm looking to spend ~ 400 but I could hold up for a little while and maybe come up with a 600$ budget.

Actually by OD I mean optical drive, as in a cd or DVD burner. Just pick up the cheapest one you can find on newegg with free shipping. TBH you shouldn't have to spend over 21 dollars on one of these.
As for the windows question, I am not sure about that. You can install a 32 bit os on any system. Given it will limit your RAM amount to 4GB (Including you GPU Ram, though I have heard otherwise).
For the GPU and your budget, you could probably go for a Radeon 5450, but if you save up some more money you could probably up that to a Radeon 5770 or GTS 450. If you can't come up with the 600 dollar budget by about mid summer, you might as well wait until new parts come out.
Sapphire brand ATI Radeon HD 5570 (1GB memory)
AMD Athlon II X2 250
Both are overclocked the highest I could get them w/o crashing, and I can play any game with at least like 25 FPS or more at 1280x1024
Alien VS. Predator (2010) at DX11, highest settings running at a steady 40 FPS
Call of Duty MW2 at like 60+FPS
Crysis 2 - medium settings (Nooooo) at 25 FPS
and any other of the newest games. These are two parts I would consider in your computer.

Okay yeah I completely forgot about a burner. And now I have a couple more questions regarding GPU.
So if I have about 4gb's of ram. And then 1gb sapphire gpu you listed above would that make my computer run faster? Or does that ram only used for the gpu? And also If I have the gpu and the processor listed above I could run new games as well like mentioned? if so I may just save up some more money.

It would make games run faster. Ram for the GPU is only used for the GPU. I would think it would run games something close to that.
The 1GB of RAM is dedicated to the graphics card mentioned. The parts will probably run those games if you have like 4GB of RAM and a 7200RPM drive and run at a resolution about as low as mine, 1280x1024. Performance will drop with higher resolutions, though.
And also, the parts are pretty low priced - only around $60 for the CPU and $70-$80 for the GPU, just make sure you pair it with 4GB of RAM and a nice motherboard so you can overclock it.

Don't mean to be bothersome with all my questions and I thank all of you for the help, but could you recommend a mobo for me?

Also could you explain what overclocking is? I'm familiar with the term but do not know what it means. I know for my android I use it to conserve battery life. And why would I want to over clock?
Overclocking is raising the speed/clock speed of the components in your computer/phone/whatever to a higher speed so it goes faster. You can underclock and it will decrease performance but give better battery life.
The mobo I suggested has an auto OC feature, so it might be easy to use that.

Thinking about coming a mod to simply not moderate.
