I never said I wanted some awesome game its just ASCII or w/e art and you choose what to do.
Batch was not designed to even be a "Guess the number" game.
It was designed by the folks at Microsoft so you could have your computer automate tasks that are too tiresome for you. (Like, once a month, you could make your batch file defrag your C:\ drive)
I dont see why you are fighting this is easy to do with ASCII and I already got it working I just gotta finish.
I'm fighting because you are GOING to have to learn another programming language like C++ or Java if you want to actually make games. From what I know, they are much better at making ASCII games. They can also make GUIs.
even for making viruses it wouldn't be recommended.
But meh, no need to go crazy on him, it's not like he was trying to do a MMORPG out of batch.

That'd be some holy **** stuff. Unless it's a text RPG. Batch is quite the language.
You are better off learning an actual programming language like C++ or Python.
If I deserve one, give me one.
As I said, Batch is not suitable for making full-fledged games.
If I deserve one, give me one.
How is that a full fledged game?
his point exactly

?
*facepalm*
Of course you can.
EVERY certified programming language should have some form of I/O and conditioning.
If I deserve one, give me one.
BATCH isn't even a programming language though. It's a shortcut to DOS commands.
We are building it bigger
We are widening the corridors
And adding more lanes
It's kinda good for starting programming, but you shouldn't stick to it for long unless you want to create some viruses.
If I deserve one, give me one.
