I remember kids thinking they were super cool because their parents bought them an N64, Saturn, and Playstation. This seems similar.
Saving up and choosing a product based on a real evaluation of your needs? That would be more impressive. The "I Don't care about using it properly" attitude tends to only persevere when you've got nothing personally invested in it.
Would you go and buy a 4K 27" OLED monitor and then look at it from the back? No you wouldn't, since you wouldn't be getting the full experience of it. Same applies to this situation. There is no point in owning this microphone if what you plan to do with it is to use it incorrectly.
