so, I am going to help upgrade my friends computer. He has a small case, so he needs a decently small card. I found this gtx 960 from evga, but it only has one fan. Does that matter at all? I've been looking that the 960's for quite a while, and they all pretty much seem to have 2 fans. Will it overheat if it only has one fan? It it be quieter?
I don't know much about mini version cards but what case does he have?
Although I really don't think any 960 is going to overheat. I'll research it a bit.
He has the semi-new silverstone raven rvz01. He needs a smaller card because there's a couple of things in his case that won't allow him to have bigger cards. I think he has a 750 ti in there right now.
most processors i know are similar sises. i was saying that all small forum factor graphics cards have 1 Cooler (usually an active cooler, like a fan) on it.

Yeah. They do that because they're meant for mini ITX builds most of the time.

If something like the STRIX edition won't fit, I don't see any other alternative, And it really should be fine.

But is it fine for cooling? It won't overheat or anything, right?

From what I can tell.
You may want to do some research on it though.

Well, the only 295x2 that would fit, they don't sell anymore but I mean you can get a pretty good build with mini itx..
