We're a collective of video game nerds, Minecraft builders, and lego modelers in the process of bringing digital creating into its next evolutionary phase. Our software Sunshine utilizes motion tracking (with the razer hydra), oculus rift, and 3D televisions to create an entirely new method of digital space creation, and 3D modeling.
We are looking for limited number of talented Minecraft enthusiasts in the Los Angeles area to play test, and contribute to the creative devlopment of Sunshine. If interested send us a quick note detailing your digital modeling experience. Screenshots would excite us.
Your thread's a bit misleading, isn't it? I wouldn't put it past a group of indie developers to come up with something integrating Hydra, Rift, and possibly 3D televisions, but isn't it a bit too much to say you're going to come up with something on par with what's in Iron Man?
It's going to be exactly like Tony Stark's system.
Alright, you kind of just lost all credibility with that statement.
Tell me, what kind of technology will you use to project displays into midair? Current hologram tech resembling what movies show involve filling a chamber of gas and somehow manipulating the light output of the gas to form a VERY crude image, and it's hardly ideal filling an entire room with gas.
I'm not even going to go into the amount of programming involved.
I'd say you'd still be in the realms of reality if you had said, it imitates Tony Stark's system by using VR and overlaying a 3D UI over a real-time environment of the room, similar to what Hololens does, but saying it is exactly like Tony Stark's system is too much.
Hey Karlz,
I'm being intentinally factitious. For obvious reasons we can't go into a lot of details about our softwear online just yet. I assure you it's Iron Man cool though, we promise.
