Z97 is pretty much the same price as the H97 + I get the headset which I can give away to a friend. Both deals are from different retailers so the price is slightly different.
+ The Z97 will be a small benefit if I want to upgrade to an overclockable CPU in the future.
EDIT: I have misread, I have now updated the post.
I can't find data on that motherboard, even on GIgabyte's site. Judging by the low price it's probably lacking features and won't really overclock well.
If you're overclocking, you have to spend more on the motherboard. If you aren't, change the CPU to the 4460 and get a H97 motherboard.

I don't really care about what i spend, I get £300/m towards my computer and the rest I can either give to my friend to help him build or I can give it away to someone who needs it.
The motherboard I've already looked into and it has some solid reviews, it's a basic board built for gaming computers. It lacks no features on most other high end boards.

How about Intel Core i7 (3.30 GHz) processor and NVIDIA Geforce GT 840M 3 GB GPU?
I don't need a GPU, I already have one. I need a new CPU and Motherboard. Not to mention that that's for a laptop.
Not only do I not have a laptop, but I have a graphics card. Why would I want on-board graphics if I have a graphics card?
Ok. You have Intel HD Graphics?
I can't tell if you're trolling or actually have no clue about graphics cards...
It's not the first option, that's for sure.

It'll be temporary, I will be upgrading the motherboard a month after I get it. Then the motherboard I have can be used as a giveaway or something

Better?
That's a waste of money.
