Hello there! I am planning to record some Xbox 360 Gameplay (And Xbox One Soon) and I was wondering if the Blue Snowball ice was a good choice. I just plan to simply play the game and commentate. Is this a good microphone? I tried the Yeti. It was just really big and bulky and everytime someone saw it they thought I was hosting a 1960's radio show. I took a break from recording, sold the microphone and now I'm getting back into it for real this time. So is this a good microphone for me to use?
ALSO: I've never recording Xbox Gameplay, so I need a capture card, Problem is... I don't know wether to go with the Roxio Game Capture HD PRO or the Elgato. I just want something to record my gameplay in at least 720p
So yeah, Is the Snowball Ice a good choice for me? And which capture card is good for me.
I use a Blue Snowball - the Yeti is a great choice as well.
As far as a recording device - you cannot go wrong with a Hauppague HD DVR 2 Gaming editions - I use that for my console recordings as well and its perfect. You can even use it to stream right to twitch.
