I have created a Redstone Maze, which is probably something that has been created before, but this was still an interesting experience to create nonetheless. I wanted to incorporate skill into solving a MineCraft maze rather than just blindly going through the thing and having luck on your side.
What this maze allows for is the pulling down of various levers throughout the map to shift walls. Whenever a lever is activated, it is clear to see due to the redstone lamp right next to it.
Lever with Redstone Lamp:
This was originally going to be for the other adventure map I am working on (no link because it's far from finished), but I thought this maze design was too simple to put into that product. Because of this, there are still hidden chests around the 50x50 block maze, but the only items these contain are diamonds used for score and a secret item used to complete the last section of the maze.
(Slightly) Hidden Chests:
There are various pathways to take. If I'm to be honest, I'm not going to exaggerate the pathways this map has, because it was only the first design I came up with. This is a relatively straight-forward maze that might be fun to play 1-3 times, learning more each play-through.
This post is under the Bedrock edition of MineCraft, meaning it is easiest to play this map on the Windows 10 version using the links below. The original version of this map did not contain a full-on map wall at the end, however this was added in the 1.1 version! To see a full on map of the maze and how the inner workings of it works, you will have to beat the maze first. You can download the map via MediaFire here:
Edit: I have finally created a map wall at the end of the maze where players are able to see a larger layout of how the inner working of it all works. But you still have to beat the maze first to get this map advantage! Link is Version 1.1 in the actual post.
