We're playing Bedrock on the Xbox One (hope this is the right place) and have just made a pretty big kelp farm - but the rates are awful. A chap on YouTube just said that they had nerfed kelp on Bedrock in some way, so could anyone tell me a better option? He made a massive bamboo farm, but I believe bamboo is a terrible fuel?

Kelp growing is broken but will be fixed in version 1.16. Currently, a kelp plant will stop growing after it has been broken a couple of times, rendering any farm useless.
you could always build a blaze farm as the blaze rods are a very good source of renewable fuel and a good source of XP but nothing beats kelp in the end cause you can make it 100% automatic
Hi,

Any advice welcome
Bamboo is a fast burning fuel, however with a noisy zero-tick bamboo farm, you'll have enough to cook/smelt your goodies.
