Hello everyone, I was currently with my RTX 2060 trying to make this version of Minecraft work at more FPS but it turns out that I play on a screen at 2K resolution and the game automatically sets to this resolution when starting it, I would like to know if there is any way to change the resolution to which the game is rendered either from it or by modifying some configuration file.
The only solution I've found is to use tools and script:
1. Configure Minecraft Bedrock to run in Full Screen
2. Change desktop resolution to required , eg. 720p (use NirSoft "nircmd")
3. Start Minecraft Bedrock in Full Screen (use start shell in script to start UWP application)
4. After closing Minecraft restore original resolution. (use NirSoft "nircmd" to detect closing the Minecraft and restore resolution)
The shell script Minecraft.cmd:
Minecraft.cmd:
@ECHO OFF
ECHO Set screen to 720p
nircmdc.exe setdisplay 1280 720 32
ECHO Starting Minecraft...
nircmdc.exe wait 5000
nircmdc.exe execmd "start shell:appsFolder\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App"
ECHO Waiting for Minecraft end...
nircmdc.exe wait 5000
nircmdc.exe waitprocess Minecraft.Windows.exe
ECHO Set screen to 1080p
nircmdc.exe setdisplay 1920 1080 32

An easier way to get Minecraft Windows 10 edition to output at 1080p is to just use a lower resolution in the Nvidia control panel, no modification of configuration files required.
Considering the fact that the resolution of the game can be changed in the options in the Java version however, in my opinion there was no excuse for Microsoft to make the process this complicated in the Windows 10 edition aka bedrock edition. They should have just given people the option to set the resolution through the video options.
720p is a good compromise to get a better frame rate on a 2k display though, because it multiplies exactly by 4 on a 2560 by 1440p pixel display. You do show a good amount of knowledge on the topic, but let's be honest, most PC games come with an option to set the display resolution while you're actively playing, so it's ludicrous why MC doesn't and makes you go through unnecessary techno jargon to do it.

I don't think you can. I'm not fully sure, but I think you can't.
As far as I know. You can't. Not aware if someone did such thing.
If you change your display resolution in windows then Minecraft will use that resolution in fullscreen mode.
