I play in a realm with my friends on my phone on survival mode. The realm has barriers placed so we can’t go far and if we try to go past these barriers, an invisible wall stops us.
You see, past these barriers is another plot of land really far away that also has its own separate barrier. The owner who is in creative made it so that there is a button that teleports us to that area and with that is a really hard dungeon with a bunch of strong mobs and a lot of loot. So, doing what a normal person would do, I tamed 50 dogs and brang them all to this other area.
Much to my disappointment, none of them followed me when I teleported there, they just stayed where they were and did not teleport to me. I suspect that this is the barrier’s doing, but I am not too sure. Is that the reason why it won’t work or is it something else? If so, what can I do or the owner of the realm do to fix this?
Depending on how the teleport button was set up, it may well 'see' only the player[s] in the immediate vicinity when pressed…
It ought to be possible to write the teleport command to include any tamed wolves in a range that belong to player[s] in range, but whether that accords with the realm owner's intentions for playing the dungeon area remains in question…
From a technical standpoint, knowing the platform and version in which the realm is running would likely be needed….

WARNING: I have an extemely "grindy" playstyle; YMMV — if this doesn't seem fun to you, mine what you can from it & bin the rest.
I haven't messed around with dogs since many many updates ago but I remember a world where I was doing a challenge where I had to keep moving and couldn't settle down, anyway I tamed a few dogs and found that they didn't follow me when I crossed an ocean.
I assumed that their chunks were unloaded before I reached the shore.
Since you're in multiplayer it would seem possible that having another person with you and the dogs to keep the dog's chunk loaded when you teleport could be worth a try unless that has already been the case.
Dogs have no specific biome/block/etc restrictions when it comes to teleporting to the player. They simply have distance factor, and it's small enough that under certain circumstances you can get too far away for the dog to find you (thus, no location to teleport to).
Do you guys happen to know the exact code to teleport all tamed wolves of a specific player? The owner cannot figure it out as he can only make it so that all dogs no matter the owner will teleport there in a ten block radius which could cause issues. Thanks!

Just testing.

Why not just spawn in a new one then if you're using commands??
