What are some things you've done, or seen done in java you wish was in better together. Not for the purpose of demanding change or anything, just curious to see some things on your list. I got a few.
1) Wish leaves transferred redstone signal like in java 1.13
2) Could build on top of the bedrock ceiling in the nether (easy gold farm anyone?)
3) Mobs weren't determined by a density cap, making mobs more prevalent, and mob farms easier to make
4) Sweeping edge on sword to hit multiple mobs at once
5) Shield please!
6) Use kelp on non-source blocks to make them source blocks
7) More commands and general information like being able to see light level on a specific block, or see chunk borders
8) Slimes... would just be nice to see slimes
9) AFK fish farms
10) More free content (skins, maps, textures, mods, etc)
I'd like cave spawns again (#3 basically). I played Xbox 360 Edition a little this weekend and I had to quickly re-learn a careful caving technique. I'm now too used to being able to just walk through dark caves without a care because hey, nothing ever spawns there right? Not so in Xbox 360 Edition...

For me, just the ability for dual wielding to be able to kill mobs and have the pickaxe on the other hand with mending, fixing the tool on an exp farm easily.

I play Minecraft since 1.6.2 and Minecraft Pocket Edition since 0.8.1. My xbox IGN is Rubencr7173.
I'm curious how dual wielding would work on mobile devices and their touch screens.
I certainly would like the "F3" function.
The "Buffet" world creation option would be nice, maybe that's already planned?
I'd like the sound effects from Java to be in Bedrock as well.
As far as mods go, they are easier to apply in Bedrock with the *.mcpack file format, than say ... having to install Forge and what not. Like it was mentioned already, there simply aren't many people making mods for this.
IMHO nothing should be 'banned' from the game, that's being closed minded, and minecraft is supposed to be a sandbox game, thus played how you want to play it not how someone wants you to play it
Bedrock edition is slowly moving away from its java counterpart, in that more and more things are being changed to how the devs want us to play, rather than how we want to play. I find the bedrock edition no fun, lacking in ways to accomplish things. It was supposed to be a clone of java, with the exception that redstone quasi would be removed as it was considered the biggest bug in minecraft. I could live with that, but much much more has been changed since then.
Personally, I view bedrock as a failure now, sure its got potential but they keep moving in the wrong direction and making it worse.

A note for slimes, I know they are actually super messed up right now but I was able to solve the issue and get some to spawn it was a pain but I cleared a slime chunk from sky to Y 38 and they spawn very frequently compared to if you were to make a layered platform in a slime chunk or even better then swamps.
I would also like to see more information about what light lvl I am at and biome name. Being able to see chunk boarders would make things easier too but I can deal with doing the math for now.
Another edition for your list for me would be xp storage through furnaces. I know thats a new edition to java but not Bedrock.

All the extra things in Java, with Forge, Pam's Harvest, and other add ons!

Being able to spawn slimes (and phantoms?) using a size modifier. Bedrock does not support this and java has had it for....a decade?
