Lets talk about mobs, which is your favorite and why! We may learn some interesting things from each other.
My favorite is the wolf. It gives me another reason to make dyes for their collar color and they are great at killing things. They will stare through walls to help you find enemies up to 10 blocks away.
I wish Mojang would make dog armor and allow the dog to ‘level up’ through killing enemies and become stronger/more healthy so you can actually rely on your dog to do serious work!
The Librarian sells nametags, and I do believe that is the only way to currently obtain them in survival. It's the last trade on the scale, and many many trades with him are required to get that far. That is a lot of emeralds! Also, along the way, you may get lucky and be offered a treasure enchanted book like Mending or Frostwalker
I have a really unique pig home that fits in about a 7x10 area it includes a tiny shelter and a fenced in area. I put some couldrons with green dye in them to look like slop, for ground I use hay stacks and terra-cotta and on the outside of the fence I put tail grass.. oh and I put one spider web in the build because... well Charlotte (:
i dont find pigs pigs rather usefulin survival compared to other mobs but I still Ike having them
The Katorrian Empire uses husks as a body structure for personnel in its military. They get modified with more speed, strength, and health using commands, along with specific armor to determine what type of personnel they are (Rank and branch). In addition, their voices sound electronic, which would be be beneficial for role-play.
Pork is pointless, beef gives the most health. Once you have the stupid achievement, pigs are redundant
Porkchops and beef both give the same amount of saturation (hunger replenishment). Cows can be beneficial by milking them, while pigs can be ridden in if guided by a carrot on a stick. They both can be useful at times, but you need to make use of what you have.

Pork gives three, beef four. And steering a pig is like, well, steering a pig. Use a horse!

On the contrary. According to Minecraft Wiki, they both give the same saturation. If you still doubt this, then send us a private message, showing us how you got your answer. As for steering a pig, it could just be used for racing.

Most mobs have their pro's and cons. The only mob I don't like is the pig, as it has no unique purpose.
The pig gives us delicious pork chops and a fun achievement!
My favorite mob is the Enderman. His scream when being vanquished is what makes me happy.
(My least favorite is that stupid laughing witch....)

Pork is also used in villager trading
Yeah, to buy garbage with.
Emeralds, to buy emeralds with. A little pig farm and a looting sword will help with your emerald income if you're into that villager trading racket.
I rarely trade with villagers, as whatever they are selling is usually cheaper to find/make yourself

Oh yeah, I'll need name tags to name those pigs I don't keep 😁
Only joking, yeah I get where you're coming from, just saying personally I never have use for pigs and never keep them

You can get Nametags in dungeon chests. I just got one yesterday.
