Ahem. This, as of E3, is outdated content. All the features of the Better Together update (the Realms and Community Marketplace integration, the conversion of most Console Editions to the Bedrock Engine to enable cross-platform multiplayer and the expansion of world size on most Console Editions to infinite size) are correct, and have been confirmed to be released in the August update.
Now, let me clarify some issues with the other information. First, for anyone who hasn't seen the E3 trailers, the 4K update is being released with an ENTIRELY SEPARATE version of Minecraft called the Minecraft Super Plus Pack, to be released alongside and EXCLUSIVELY FOR the Xbox One X, the new 4K console Microsoft announced at E3 last week. Second, yes, the 4K update is free, as far as I've seen, but when combined with the Super Graphics Pack to be released for said update (which combine to form the Minecraft Super Plus Pack in the aforementioned text), the price of the game is DOUBLED. That is how valuable the new graphics are. Also, from what I've heard, I don't really know if the 4K update will be released to consoles that don't support it. So far, I believe the only graphics support for 4K TVs are offered by the Xbox One S and the PlayStation 4 Pro, which means the 4K update will likely only be released to those consoles. Any other consoles might not receive the 4K update.
I believe you are mistaken. No game or add-on can be specifically made to only run on the xbox one x, or xbox s, this is pretty much law laid down by phil spencer. That said, some games will be '4k ready' and will be 'free' upgrades to 4k, providing that your running a xbox one x, and have a 4k tv. As I understand it, the super duper gfx pack will run on xbox one, under the new engine, and the new engine will also have the option to have dynamic lighting, shadows and shaders, which will be an option in the free upcoming version. I do not know if the super duper texture pack will cost. But i'm almost certain that the new version (bedrock version) is free to all console owners whom already own minecraft on console.
This update of cross-plataform will just be on scorpio ? or will have for the original xbox one too? Im kinda worried, I dont want to XB1 Version get killed.

My biggest concern would be when the new Minecraft bedrock version ported over to the console. Will rendering distance and chunk load get scaled down? It wouldn't make sense if it does not fully utilize its hardware especially XB1X. I am hoping it has the ability to adjust based on device player uses automatically. Or MC game downloads from mobile and console store, each has different value for rendering distance and whatnot.
Updated: I read information about MCPE from gamepedia. It has graphic customs that include render distance. I have not really play MCPE/WIN 10. So , I think most likely the MC game sets to high by default on console. Ignore this post. You may answer or have any additional to discuss more about this. 🙂
I don't think it will, in fact I see it getting better if anything, and the main reason I'm saying that is that 'split screen' will likely no longer be supported, and this frees up 'a lot' of resources, thus enabling us much more then we currently have. I expect some to be up in arms when they realize that split screen will likely no longer be supported, but I'm actually glad this is happening, and IMHO its about time.

Cire360, You are saying that a lot of information of splitscreen is being reserved in active memory. That's why player join quickly. If that get removed from the memory, we could have spawn chunk, extra entities and chunk loads, farther world size, and whatnot. Is that right?
Split screen is a big resource hog. And it don't just support 2 player split screen, 4 player currently I believe, each split screen, is almost like an entirely separate client being run at the same time, with their own loaded chunks, inventory, and player processing. This is apart of the program at all times, though the amount of resources used is less when its just one player, but all the additional overhead is still there, reducing what 'could' be. I'm not saying that its enough to give all those options, but its a pretty big chunk that could be freed up.
I personally believe that the limitations on world sizes (now that we have chunk unloading), isn't because of memory, but more so because of the limitations set back on when it was a xbox arcade title. The rules clearly stated that a arcade title could only have 'so much hard drive space'. Now I don't know if we will have unlimited worlds or not with the new title, time will tell.
What I do know is that these folks are more geared towards following what the original minecraft is on PC, they get updates 4x more often then we currently do, jeb the current pc developer, works much more closely with the bedrock engineers and thus more info on whats coming will be passed around, and thus we won't be left in the dark wondering whats going on all the time.
There are only 2 big issues that I see. The first is that the bedrock engine has successfully patched Quasi, which limits some machines, and the second is that if our current worlds will be able to be converted to the new engine.
Hey man, chill, I meant no disrespect, I'm just calling it as i see it. The engine as it is on the platforms that it exists on right now do not have any type of split screen functionality, and I'm guessing with the features that they want to add to the game that it won't on console either. For each split screen player requires a total player chunk load, inventory and other tidbits that make the game run loaded and processed separately. I just can't see them taking the resources to make that possible within the new engine. I could be wrong, I'm just calling at as i see it, and I meant no harm via my comments.
Ignore the noob in my assumption here, but if this next update will bring X1 minecraft up to date with the Windows 10 version has there been any release of information that this will clear up the bugs currently on console? namely the problems with what constitutes a village?
(I'll take different bugs as long as minecraft on Xbox starts to remember that it is to function as minecraft. when the basic functions do not work as they should it throws everyone off. This mainly affects redstoners who make auto farms and the like but it is quite annoying. when you build the Iron foundry in survival to find that it doesn't work because the game doesnt understand the basic functions of a village... well it hurts my soul.
As long as worlds will transfer and split screen remains, this sounds good. The infinite worlds will give us access to some of the latest update features.

Hopefully the world saves will transfer smoothly with no errors. The programming is probably different from the console version, so they'll have to do some conversion. Anyone know exactly who is developing the new version? Mojang AB? Just Curious
Ha ha, tell yourself that ten thousand iron bars a minute matters at all when your shulker boxes have all been wiped and you die and lose your gear because featherfall enchantments aren't working.
While I think auto farms and monster iron farms are cool and all, they tend to work off exploits and bugs, and I don't think the devs have any obligation to make sure they work just because someone figured out an exploit five years ago.
You lost items with the recent update? Leave it to 4J to mess things up. Have you tested iron farms and such on the Windows 10 edition. Just for comparison.
...One guy I know, on a past update, lost his entire villager trading centre because he kept them all in minecarts and an update deleted any mobs in minecarts. breeding and curating those librarians in particular took him ages...
I'm not the guy you're referring to but I had the same thing happen to me. Kept villagers in mine carts so they don't run around like idiots then they get deleted by 4J. Ok fine, at least I have this cool set up around a zombie spawner that took quite a while to create and wire but works pretty well so I can just cure some more... no the spawners are all broken, oh, well, guess I'll just wait for the patch.
Patched, good, except what was a zombie spawner in the middle of my trading area is now a skeleton spawner. Thanks.
Oh, and now, villagers can zoom along in minecarts on their own. Even when you park them on top of an unpowered powered rail.
Still possibly my favorite game of all time but 4J has quite a bit of room for improvement.

Agree. Some minor issues around the world edges are fine, but hopefully all the blocks convert smoothly. I know we have some edges from the biome update, but we managed to just work with it.
Will the caps for passive mobs be lifted? Will we now need to breed due to low spawn rates of passive mobs? Will entity counts be lifted? Will the caps on villagers finally go way? Will spawners be able to spawn above and beyond mob caps like on PC? Will the spawn rates be finally fixed? If our worlds do transfer over will it keep important areas, like witch huts, and neither fortresses, ocean temples, ect.
Hopefully we get some of these questions answered in the near future.

The cross platform part will be for all versions of the Xbox One.
Clarify please?

They've already confirmed both world transfers and "infiate"
map size.
Iam guessing they will, as the new engine just doesn't have it and adding it to it would be a HUGE undertaking.

They confirmed that splitscreen is coming in the Bedrock version.
