I'd like to see a game mode a lot like MineZ with the addition of enchanting and xp.
For those who haven't heard of it:
MineZ is a Minecraft mod coded entirely at the server level that adds the thrill of the zombie apocalypse.
Custom and ruthless zombie AI: Zombies use a unique line of sight depending on how a player moves, meaning moving slowly and carefully is crucial to the survival of a player. Going beyond that, zombies will investigate noises, go to a players last seen location if you try to lose them around a corner, and are just as much of a threat in the water as they are on land. MineZ uses the experience bar to show player visibility, allowing players to identify what actions are causing zombies to swarm them.
Inventory management: Players start with next to nothing, and must find their equipment in chests found within towns, ruins, castles, and dungeons. Certain areas sport different equipment, and each chest is randomly generated from an extensive loot table. This means every adventure will be different, as the items will be different each time you visit a location. In addition, most items do not stack, meaning players must make careful choices in what to carry on their journey.
Health, food, and thirst: Health regeneration is disabled in MineZ, meaning that players must find health potions or eat food to regenerate their health. In addition, food is scarce, meaning players must be careful in when they choose to sprint or climb a large mountain. Finally, thirst has been brought into the game and is represented in the experience level part of the Minecraft UI, meaning carrying water bottles for long journeys is essential if a player does not want to die of dehydration.
I'd really like more songs into Minecraft. None that would cause lawsuit issues. Just like..remixes of songs that are already in-game! (Minecraft theme Remix. Look it on Youtube.)
Also some cool items are the following:
-Microwave, or something similar to it: To cook things faster.
-Chairs: Crafted by using 4 sticks, and 2 wood
-Lamp posts: Made with 4 iron, and 2 glowstone. I'm not really a fan of classic lamp posts.
--------------------------------------------
Also, can there be an option for when you put a music disk in a Jukebox, it can be heard anywhere? I'm tired of taking my jukebox everywhere just to listen to not even halve of a song.
Also, since having cars in Minecraft doesn't really fit it. There should be a craftable wagon. Controlled by horses. Like back in the pioneer days. One more thing. If Texture packs are added, in the Marketplace, after a week, new texture packs would arrive, being different every time. Then new ones would arrive next week, then so on and so forth.
Also, at MineCon, you guys said that you might be able to bring some "mods" into an update. A mod I would, and others would enjoy is the Aether mod.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned these yet, but here are a few mods that I'd like to see added as optional content (in the same way you can check/uncheck generated structures):
I want something called the "Superflat chunk."
You turn on this option and the chunk you spawned on and surrounding* chunks become superflat with the overworld in it. Its good because it makes creative builds in normal generated worlds less time consuming and it has caves, biomes, and generated features to look forward to.
Can you guys look into a bug that's been 'bugging' me since day one of Xbox minecraft, if you place two iron doors next to eachother and if you place buttons on either side of the doors, one of the two doors will bug out and stay open once pushed the button.
the only thing new i want for minecraft is a bigger map a 3 map by 3 map.. 9 reguler map total size so you can accualy get the full minecraft in one map other than haveing to start all over after every update (if you didnt venture into a certain map area).. if they would have done this from the start we would'nt have to go through 10 didfferent maps just to get one decent full size strong hold not half eaten by a ravine.. and another 5 to 10 maps just to get a nether fortress and get blaze rods so we can accualy make a breweing stand..

This would be especially cool if we could choose to either load a new map on one of the 9 map slots or load a map from another save that way all of those release and 1.8.2 maps become useful to us again! It kinda kills me to leave my old map behind, but without a nether fortress i'm unable to get the most out of the new update. It also bugs me to know that when the new update comes out and we get jungle biomes i'll be abandoning my newest map too. . . So many great builds left collecting dust!
If creative mode cheating is a concern you could always have maps edited in creative mode locked so they can olny be added to creative saves and unable to be added to survival games. We already know the game tracks that for us, so why not make use of that data.
(Also could we get a box to check to stop showing that warning message about playing in creative mode. One that basically says 'Yeah, i know this is my creative mode map. I know anything i do here won't show up on the leader board. Stop telling me that already!' You know, that or '[X] Never show this message again.' That window is starting to grate on my nerves a bit. I really couldn't care less about the leader board to be honest with you!
Back to the point, allowing us to add our old maps to our new larger maps would also make those huge ocean biomes useful to us for map decorating purposes. You could have 1 or two full sized maps separated by a vast ocean. or a single tiny survival island surrounded by an endless sea! Maybe your world is actually a series of 8 islands surrounding a deep ocean crater or something. The possibilities for making some really stunning and unique worlds would really open up and give players the feeling that they really do own the world they are playing in!
I'd love an "Export Steve" option. It basically makes a seperate save game file which holds the data of all the stuff you're carrying in your inventory (including quickslot bar and equipped armor), and then you can import that file into a newly created world ONE TIME ONLY. After the import, the exported Steve file is deleted.
This would make it a bit more enjoyable to start a new world, especially in light of not every world (or actually just rather few, it seems) having a Nether fortress. It would allow me to take at least some of the stuff I've gathered in the hours before realising that there isn't a Nether fortress in my world.
Here are my ideas.
1. After each update they should expand the world so that people won't have to start a new world if they want to have any of the new biomes.
2. Every world should have a nether fortress.
3. An option for host to put others in creative or survival in game
4.An option to set a spawn point for whenever people new people join someones world they would spawn at a certain location instead of spawning far away from they're place.
5.I guess a indicator that shows where you died at for a few seconds.
The brewing interface needs to be redone, something like what was done for the crafting interface. What I'm thinking is that you put a potion bottle in and to the right or below you see a list of possible things that the potion can be turned into. You can then point at each one to see a description of what it is and what ingredient you need. If you have the necessary ingredient in your inventory, the item is clickable and when you click on it is transferred to the brewing stand. Once the potion is done, the target potions list is then updated with what you can do next.
I don't know if this was said or not, but I would like to see mannequins in the game. Something similar to Skyrim to decorate our houses and Blacksmiths with.

Since 4J Studios has added most of the stuff I wanted on the Xbox version of Minecraft, like Enchanting, Potions, and the new Bow animation, I REALLY want 3 more things added:
1) Download skins from the computer, either posted by other players or created by yourself. So it would make the game more enjoyable so people can make Machinimas and stuff, and better roleplaying.
2) Terrain options for superflat so you can add rivers, mountains, ect. but still have the superflat concept.
3) Lastly, larger servers. Therefor more people can play on your world instead of you and 7 other people.
1. A feature that at least ensures you have at least one of every biome and structure to ensure we dont run into situations where you cant get a certain item such as Blaze Rods or Cactus'
2. During the moon cycle I thought it would be cool to have decreased mob spawning during he full moon, and increased mob spawning during a new moon, sort of just to mix things up a bit.
sorry about me not being here for a few day, too much homework. There should be a terrain gen option where you can customize superflat worlds, give them trees, and even for default worlds, more control over the biomes and structures. Maybe an option that allows you to raise the likelihood of a structure spawning, and it slightly lowers the other structures. You should be able to comepletely turn off certain biomes, and even make it so that one biome takes up the whole world. If you pick desert, there should definitely be a small ocean with an island that has trees on it.
backpacks!!! yes please! and Markers to set so you can view landmarks on the map thats cool and a Flashlight all that will be cool o and a jetpack! yes
I was thinking they should make it so that if lightning struck sand or you set it on fire, it would turn into glass. This would mainly be aesthetic, unless you did a separate block that, when mined, would become a glass block. Maybe quartz or something.
So lightning strikes a beach, turns a sand block into a quartz block, then when you mine it it becomes a glass block
When all of xbox minecraft has caught up, please make an expansion to the worlds. Its has become hard to do anything close to pc when you have a world that fits only 1 map. In addition, If there is to be an expansion, please apply them to existing worlds so that we may continue on the world(s) that have taken time to build.(Not just on creative mode). For an resolution, you could possibly have it randomly generate chunks around the already exsisting map. I ,and I am sure many others, do not wish to start all of the other survival maps over just to have updates applied such as "The End".
that.sounds.AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
