Someone posted a tweet in the other thread saying the enchanting will be a more advanced version from later PC versions, not the 1.1 enchanting. Sounds great!

Here are the list of things that have been stated to be added in TU7: Animal Breeding, Potion Brewing, Experience Points, Enchantment Table (max level 30), Mushroom Biome, Nether Fortress, New Tutorial World, Villagers, Mooshrooms, Blaze, Snow Golems, Magma Cubes, Baby Animals, Experience earned from smelting, breeding, and mining.
This sounds really exciting to me and I love playing and relaxing with Minecraft as it is. I am glad I randomly started playing it months ago. Really relaxing and fun after a long day at work.
So they might be in the next update.. They said they will be implementing numerous updates. Has anyone heard of iron golems being in the next update? It would suck having villagers, and not having anything that can protect them when we are away...

Well no we havent as it pretty much said 1.01 less the End so as there was no mention of bringing anythig forward (which they would have to for the iron golems) I guess they wont be there
This has probably been answered already, but upon the new update, will the new features be implemented in my current world? I remember seeing that if all the chunks are explored already you'd have to start a new save/map so maybe I should just stick to one side of the map for now?
New systems are available in old maps, but anything that affects map generation isn't. So you'll be able to breed, enchant etc, but not get mushroom biomes, in a fully explored map.
I don't think mushroom biomes are going to get me to start anew, I'll wait for jungles and end portals etc.
^^^^This.... I have to agree, kinda pointless to start anew at the moment. Besides my old map is doing fine without mineshafts and a portaless stronghold... Not that my old map can get any of those as it is now. lol
I would possible just create a map to have a look, but actually play on it, that is a different matter all together. But I'm pretty patient so, I'll just go back to playing Borderlands 2 or my primary map in Minecraft xbox or the pc version... Doesn't matter to me, I will always have something to play or do in minecraft. Creativity never ends in creative...:D Ironically I really don't use creative mode.

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
I have a map that I started a bit ago and I haven't explored much of because of the fact that I was having fun making my own mine system and I explored maybe 5-10% of the map so far because I am making a stronghold type house right now and only have so much time for right now due to work and life. I have everything I want so far in my little area, so I am glad I have no reason to explore any farther.
Seriously though, time passes way to quick when playing minecraft.
I wish I could stop myself buying these skin packs (what, 5 or 6 now?) - I think I'm only doin it becaus I'm desperate for real content, that does something, to be added, and skins are almost that.
The ability to trade or have persistent maps would make this game explode, your 4.5 million sales would look like amateur hour.
Certainly some texture packs and unique-to-Xbox feature packs would sell a treat (eg a pack with a redstone block and Green Amphibian mob (that swims in water and hops on land, eyes glow red when attacked, drops frog leather for green leather armour).
LOL i just can't wait until this new update comes out i can't stand the anticipation.

But lately I have not played much, as I have gotten everything I wanted in my 1.8 map. My 1.6 map is still being worked on too. I'm adding in more because of Creative mode. Plus, I created a huge castle, and a town, on which I don't want to get rid of because it took me 2 months to create (with all the cobble stone to cook. :P) when I had no internet when it was first released (Used my mom's to download and install at the time.) But now I'm just playing Black Ops 2, but kinda getting tired of it, because of all the try hards. >.> So been playing Party games and Zombies. But yeah, can't wait for enchantment and breading! Which once that's added in, you bet your butt I'll be playing all the time!
What sucks for me is that I don't ave the money to buy microsoft points so I hope they don't take it out like they did the Halloween skin pack. I wanted to help the cause.
