What are some of your ideas and current adventure maps? I'd like to see what people are building.
I'm going to start working on a map soon but I cannot create item sensitive doors. I don't think I will ever be able to because the "dropped item stacking ability" was not added until 1.3. If anyone has an alternate way of making item sensitive doors, please tell me. It would be very much appreciated!

I actually was inspired this evening to create a Capture The Flag (CTF) map. I spent some time drawing up a rough draft and will most likely start work on it tonight or tomorrow. I'm thinking of adding a few traps for each team to arm and maybe wire explosives to be detonated.
Ive been working on an ungriefable house. my concept works but I cant seem to overcome one last obsticle. Ive been trying for a while and not giving up... But so far all I have is an invincable wall that can simply be walked around or built up and jumped over
Build 3 more walls and an obsidian roof that spawns skeletons and creepers.
I'm personally editing one of my worlds to become a PVP arena, as well as soon making a few arenas. As soon as villagers and spawning eggs are put in, I'll be able to make some new games too.
I generated as map several weeks back with lots of mountainous spires, I remember thinking this place screams for a Wizard's Tower or Dracula Castle. I settled on the Wizard's Tower but as you knou once you start something in MC it tends to expand. After the Tower I went on to build many other structures on the map to compliment the tower, It's become a massive adventure map project and is still not finished, that I now call

I've used item drop doors here, but I'm gathering you mean specific item drops, like only a gold bar would open a certain door, if so I would also like that included in a future update. as well as writeable books.
So after some more testing last night I found a very simple way to render all my hard work useless. My whole unbreakable wall was based off a cobblestone generator on steroids. Basicly, I used about 10 generpators to spped the process up to the point a diamond pick couldnt work quick enough. Tnt however, does. It creats to big of a hole. It would take a lot of tnt, but, it would work. I did manage to flip my design sideways, and create a roof, though. The whole thing creates so much lag.. Its done in creative mode obviously, but there is hundreds of pistons. The only way I see possible to get around tnt would be.to add more generators, which I cant do. My design isnt modular enough. But, if one was to take my idea (pretty basic, really) and copy it, they could, with hours of work, they could possibly wall off an entire section of map for themselves, but it needs to be map end to map end.
