The poll really isn't important as much as me wanting to know if the community thinks its more possible than mods like tekkit and wants it more than tekkit like me and many of my friends.
Your poll is messed up- there's no "0" cost option.
No, I don't want it, there will be no "PC" mods (only original xbox mods) so the question is pointless, and since I don't want it even if it were free, I wouldn't pay anything for it.
Ehhhhh, I could really care less about it. If it was 80 MSP I would spring for it though. But, I wouldn't pay 800 for something like that. For something similar to Tekkit or RedPower, definitely, but clay soldiers.. totally not worth it.
But Xbox is a Microsoft console, is it not? Is the XBLA not Microsoft's way of publishing indie games? Was MCXBLA not created without Microsoft's green light and oversight? And Microsoft is a tyrannical dictator. They've struck down sillier requests.

No its not indie Microsoft made a deal with 4j and mojang, and Microsoft is awsome if you want dictators try apple or sony.

If you don't want it at all don't vote on that part.
I don't think its worth the hassle of 4J studios making this mod...
It looks kinda simple and if a few(probably less than 3) modders can do this on PC than I'm sure 4j's room full of developers could do it on 360 even if its harder to program.

They have a specific section for indie games, XBLA titles are official releases. I would almost guarantee that "mod-like" DLC will be made for Minecraft, Microsoft loves DLC. Have you seen the add-ons for Gears of War 3 lately?
Technically, DLC is still a form of mod. It's just okay, through Microsoft's eyes, because they are making money off of it.
Technically, but mods are also supposed to be free. Microsoft doesn't like it when people get free stuff.
Nothing states a mod has to be free. User created mods tend to be free, all that I've seen are anyway. A mod is just something that alters a game. People have been paying for mods for years. Whether it's called DLC, an add-on, or an expansion pack, it's still a mod.

User created mods are free because it would be illegal for them to make money off of somebody else's intellectual property without permission. If they could charge, I'm sure human greed would take precedence before charity and a lot of these beloved mods would cost money, even if it was just a small amount
Believing otherwise would be as ignorant as you're trying to make us out to be

Why can't they charge?

"The struggle of survival is a war without end, and war – war never changes." -Ron Perlman in Fallout.
Because Mojang owns minecraft, it would break copyright laws to make money off of somebody's Intellectual Property.
Like I could write "Harry Potter and the Magical Dildo" without breaking any laws as long as I don't charge anyone to read it, as soon as I make a penny it's illegal.
As for counter-strike, I never was really into it, so I can't speak from experience, nor do I care enough to look up the facts. Last time I saw anything pertaining to counter-strike, it was a box set that clearly had the "sierra" and "Valve" company logo on it, so I would venture as to guess that they own that now. If you can find evidence that the original modders made any money off of it and didn't get sued into oblivion, I'll retract this statement.
EDIT: *Looks at next page* someone forgot their prozac today.... I don't feel like bumping this off-topic thread so I'll put what I have to say here. The harry potter thing was a joke, I was just saying that I can write fan fiction an no one gives two ****s, until I make a dime.
And I didn't realise I was matching wits with the smartest guy on the internet here. What I stated was a basic analysis based on my knowledge of american copywrite laws. I admit that it may not apply to mojang and 4j, but I had assumed that the laws governing their work would be in close approximation.
Either way, I was under the impression that it was common knowledge that modders were not allowed to make money off of mods, but apparently I was wrong seeing as I have come under so much fire for suggesting that one simple idea. So you know what? I don't feel like arguing with you soo... You're right, you win the internet forever, hooray. Hope you can hear me from your high-horse

I could build two castles and populate them with different colored Clay Soldiers and watch them fight.

Plus, this mod promotes racism!
Good thing 4J would be the ones making it, herp.

Microsoft, Sony, Apple, and pretty much every big company are all essentially dictators. Don't start pulling fanboy **** on me.
Technically, but mods are also supposed to be free. Microsoft doesn't like it when people get free stuff.
Have you not seen all the free gamer pics and themes and DLC's(admittedly few free DLC but there are some.)
Also,I am a bit of a microsoft/Xbox fanboy
