I am currently testing some designs for the auto cooker. When I finish and build it in my survival world, I'll upload some images

I am also thinking about doing a let's play where all I do is survive from day 1 and work on big projects like the mob sorter, the cooker, and whatever else you guys would like to see. Can you tell me what I did wrong for the creepers? Because that never happened to me. Also, what happened before the creeper blow up? (i.e. skeleton shoots the creeper towards the player etc.)
EDIT: Also, I apologize for the braggy attitude. I still want to know how you did yours.

You have a dead zone in front of the zombie hole where creepers will stand and blow up. Your design also limits your control over the mobs, unlike you, I can just turn and close a door, activate the drowner, and go mining. Ifyou were to leave the sorter, mobs would start piling up and go in the wrong holes.

If I try to remove the dead zone by removing the signs, the zombies would be able to skip the zombie hole and attack me, maybe it is just your position in the mob sorter? I also updated this not too long ago where I could till a dirt block and the direction of the junction would change it from directing the mobs to the sorter to moving them in the mob cooker.

The difference between my design and yours is the control. And the dead zone. I might make a video tour of it 'cause it's hard to explain.
I'm still lost with the control thing. I'll just wait for your video tour so you could explain it more. Still can't figure out how to fix the dead zone without mobs jumping over it.
