Here I will upload ModPE scripts designed to teach #Newbies 1 thing per script. I will TRY to upload daily (or as close to that as I can).
If you need help with ModPE scripts, please tell me below. P.S. Do not ask for stuff like the redstone mod, I dont have a clue how to do that.
If I Did NOT explain this properly and/or it was too confusing, Please tell me in the comments and I will rewrite the whole script again
NOTE: You can use these scripts for whatever you want. Dont feel like you have to give me credit as these are just tutorials. I do not mind if you use these in your own mods. I would love to hear how many people were helped by these mod scripts down below!
Mod scripts:
Commands Tutorial
This script will teach you how to add custom commands into mcpe. Just do this code multiple times to add multiple commands!
I agree with TheRandomLabs, you seem quite new to JavaScript, or, you haven't learnt it properly.
Why do you have ; on the end of the if statements??!!!???
Your code:
function procCmd(cmd)
{
if (cmd == "test") //Remove the ';' //Read below number 1
clientMessage("hello this is a test"); //Read below number 2
}
//-=Number 1=-
//Inside those quotation marks goes your command. Do NOT include the /. When you type it in chat, however, then type it with a /. (E.G. /test)
//-=Number 2=-
//This option varies. Here you can use lots of things such as addItemInventory, ModPE.addPrint, and many more. A good use is setting your health. function procCmd only is at the start of the command code. after that just use if (cmd == "cmd");
// EXAMPLE OF HEAL:
function procCmd(cmd)
{
if (cmd == "heal");
Player.setHealth(12)
clientMessage("You have been healed");
}
//Add this script into blocklauncher and try it out
//If it doesn't work PM me on mcforums. goldowl37
Should be:
function procCmd(cmd)
{
if (cmd == "test") //No ';' here. //Read below number 1
clientMessage("hello this is a test"); //Read below number 2
}
//-=Number 1=-
//Inside those quotation marks goes your command. Do NOT include the /. When you type it in chat, however, then type it with a /. (E.G. /test)
//-=Number 2=-
//This option varies. Here you can use lots of things such as addItemInventory, ModPE.addPrint, and many more. A good use is setting your health. function procCmd only is at the start of the command code. after that just use if (cmd == "cmd");
// EXAMPLE OF HEAL:
function procCmd(cmd)
{
if (cmd == "heal") //Removed the ';'
Player.setHealth(20) //P.S. 20 is full health. So change 12 to 20
clientMessage("You have been healed");
}
//Add this script into blocklauncher and try it out
//If it doesn't work PM me on mcforums. goldowl37
Just a few pointers :P. Please, learn JavaScript properly.
