Try deleting the "PocketTool" folder on your sdcard and try it again. What version of Android are you using?
I'm using 2.3.3 on Xperia Play. I deleted the PocketTool folder and it worked. Thanks and can't wait to see further innovations in it.

Im not sure what could be causing that but you could try uninstalling PocketTool, then reinstalling.

Only if they are name "skin_xxxxx.png" (the x's being anything you want) and if they're located in the "download" of your sdcard.

ok all i get is a blank page. i have a skin and texture pack i want to install (then end is extremely nye) and i got nothing its just a black menu with the a skins tab and a textures tab with no options to select unless i hit the menu key and choose to save changes or the other options button. i used es explorer and tried to copy over the assest folder for the end is nye to the one already in the basic folder for pocket tool nd reinstalled mcpe and still no changes then i saw someone posted to delete the pocket tool folder and try again and i did but its still not working. im also using an xperia play. what am i doing wrong here?
I'm in the navy and don't play as much as I used to but I'm still a fan. Always scrolling... Watching... Mining...

Well, the main problem is you have to take the zip folder of the end is extremely nye and place it in the download folder on your sdcard and it should show up under textures tab. Same for skins. Currently, you have to add PE to the file name of the zip so name it "endPE.zip" or anything similar. This restriction will be removed in the next update. Also, I advise removing the "Auto-Sign" folder and "How to install.txt" from the zip because it seems these extra files cause problems when installing the texture pack. This is also being fixed as well.

This is quite odd. You should have the zip folder in your download folder. Click on the Textures tab in the app. Shows nothing?

PM me the exact steps you tried (including any changes to the zip, what you named the zip, etc...). Thats a huge bug if its not working on your Xperia Play considering it was designed, debugged, and tested on an Xperia Play.

should there be anything else in the zip folder besides the assets? as of now i put in my char.png to replace the standard one in "end is nye" just to save time closed and rezipped the file then i saved it back to my downloads folder, i renamed the original char and over all zip files with the PE and i even copied the char intthskins folder thats already in place inside the pocket tool folder. and holy crap just saw something, i got a notification that they just updated minecraft pe again so now its 0.2.2. since it was crashing on a few phones and tablets through 0.2.1 that might be the bug

    Hello Everyone,

I am hard at working building a tool to aid in the process of installing textures and skins to Minecraft PE. It is being designed as an all-in-one package to install/change texture packs and skins. It does not require root. Simply download your favorite texture pack/skin and use PocketTool to install it. No computer or file browser required.

    Coming very soon:
    -Massive code changes
-Compatible with all (or atleast 98%) texture packs
(No more worrying about the structure of the zip folder, just download and place in "download" folder on sdcard or download directly from phone internet browser)
    -GUI changes
    -New Icon
-Will recognize any zip file as a texture pack
-Now uses a separate installer for texture packs and skins in the "download" folder
-Allows the usage of the "originals" textures

    UPDATE Mar 6:
    -Added Settings (Menu > Settings)
    -Disable the uninstaller under Settings
    -Settings saved on sdcard ("/sdcard/PocketTool/settings.bin")

    UPDATE Mar 4:
    -GUI implemented
    -Supports multiple skins
    -Added zipped texture pack support
    -Searches download folder for skins/textures

    Manual:

    Features:
Install char skin and/or texture pack.

    Planned features:
    Inventory editor.
Previews of the changes before they are applied.

    NOTICE:
Please uninstall any previous version of PocketTool before installing this update.

    Directions:
You must have Minecraft PE or Minecraft PE Demo installed in order for PocketTool to run.
    Launch PocketTool.
You may install a skin by long pressing the skin you wish to install and click "Use"
You may install a texture pack by long pressing the texture pack name you wish to install and click "Use"
Press your device's "Menu" button/key then click "Apply Changes"
Confirm the uninstall. Confirm the install.
Launch Minecraft PE (or Demo) and enjoy your new skin and texture pack!

    Feedback is always appreciated!

    Known Issues:

-PocketTool will now check /sdcard/Download/ and /sdcard/download/ for skins/textures. If your phone uses a different folder for downloads, please inform me.
-PocketTool only recognizes skins if the skin has "skin" and ".png" in its name
-PocketTool only recognizes textures if it has "texture pack" or "Texture Pack" or "TEXTURE PACK" or "MC-PE" or "PE" or "Pocket Edition" and ".zip" in the name.
-If the "assets" folder is not in the root directory of the texture pack's zip, PocketTool will not be able to install it correctly.

    Credits:
Ken Ellinwood (Creator of Zip Signer 2) for his amazing zip-signer api, which made this tool possible.

    Download:

The next update is going on Google Play. There's just a few more features being worked on. PT will check to see if a new MC PE is installed and will fix this issue automatically in the next update. In theory, it'll be able to work with every update to MC PE without the need of deleting the PocketTool folder.

just my opinion, i understand you are busy with the android but for your app to do what it does on an ios device it would have to be released on cydia. That is if you are going to make an ios version. Te reason is, apple doesn't like apps that "comingle" with each other and your app wouldn't even make it past the approval process
